Corina, in that case I recently came across a dance, saw young people, maybe russian as a comment said it was stalin's or Lennon's favorite dance, I've never seen feats moving so quickly, one side were the girls the other side the boys and as if a dance challenge but repetitious but awesome to watch as if they weren't having fun I couldn't see it...I was mesmerized for quite awhile watching..

I love different cultures so much, especially vibrant ones that are nothing like mine (Finnish). All this sort of group dancing makes me feel so many things from admiration to warmth. Everyone looks like they are having such great fun together! Also, the dancing is just really cool looking.

I grew up in Chicago in a heavy Assyrian environment, the music, watching the parades, the dancing, I wish I was part of the culture, seemed so fun, cool and rich with their heritage. As American growing up, I was pretty envious to be honest, such an awesome culture! Oh the food too!!!

This dance is almost identical to South Slavic Follk dances. It speaks a lot about some common ancestry in past history. "Dabke is a native Levantine folk dance performed by Lebanese, Syrians, Palestinians and Jordanians. Dabke combines circle dance and line dancing and is widely performed at weddings and other joyous occasions. "
