Those Zorb balls were hilarious! I've seen similar ones rolling on water at a resort here in UK. The kids absolutely loved them but it took a load of frantic hamster wheel style running to get them to move 😂

I’m so loving this series - you really are ‘doing’ our holiday from last year. (Well, not the zorbing...you wouldn’t get me anywhere near that!) We stayed on that site in Taupo (just before it became a Top 10 site). It was one of our favourites. I agree about the showers, we used site facilities rather than the van. I loved Taupo.

I've always been put off zorbing as I had a misconception of what happened inside them - I assumed you went upside down 🤣 and have assumed this for too many years. Nice to see that you don't! Curious to know, are you guys still on the road and editing/uploading as you go, or have you finished the trip and editing and posting afterwards?
@DanegerAndStacey4 жыл бұрын
That's probably a common misconception! We have finished up the trip and posting afterwards (although its not been long since we've been home) was way too hard while we were on the road with internet etc

Hows your back Danger after going Down hill in those Roller ball? Are you bruised ? Take care .
@DanegerAndStacey4 жыл бұрын
Ohh the tanks arent fun 😂 but ours is definitely better that a lot of others we've seen. His back was all good after the zorb, it's quite squishy and the water helps you slide around.
@travelertrome84494 жыл бұрын
What fun! I laughed when for a second it showed Dane relaxing in the Zorb as it was going. LOL. Very good and important that you went to a place that is flat at the bottom. I saw a terrifying video of a Zorbing accident in Russia, where people were doing it on a section of a mountain. But the Zorb went off track and bounced over a cliff. I'd rather do it at a place like where you went to - flat at the bottom and no cliffs!

I love watching your guys’ videos, such a chill and lovely couple. However, I am really disappointed at the lack of effort regarding the pronunciation of Māori place names. I think if you tried to use the correct pronunciation (even if it’s not perfect), it would encourage other Kiwis to give it a go and educate your international viewers at the same time. Not to mention, it would mean a lot to your Māori viewers (of which I am one).
@DanegerAndStacey4 жыл бұрын
If you only knew how long we spent fretting trying to get the Taupo pronunciation right for the intro (which we can record after the fact with more consideration, and I think Stace did great) you probably wouldn't leave this comment... the others are filmed in the moment and roll off the tongue the same way they have for the past 30 years sadly. We're aware, and willing to give it a crack, but can't fix stuff we already filmed unfortunately :(
@roimataclaasen43194 жыл бұрын
I did notice the intro and the pronunciation was perfect, thank you for making the effort.
