Hey, great video! I had a clear-out of my loft and found, originally boxed, a Zorki-4. It's a very nice camera, I normally shoot with a Canon 600D and I've never shot with an old camera. I'm going to buy some films and have a go with it, you took some fantastic photos using yours!

What's the music's title / theme? Sounds like 70's anime from Japan.

Normally I don’t like the videos with no talking. But this one was incredibly well done and unfortunately I’m of a generation that faintly recognised the TV music of the 60s and 70s.

Great video, and great score too!! Where did you take this music? It seems to me the soundtrack of one of the episodes of Space 1999...

I've got the same set up, except my J12 is black, got the turret viewfinder too, I wasn't too sure about the camera, but after shooting with the J8 I got some very unique shots, nice Bokeh too! Now I'm hooked on the Zorki

@BermanYaniv oh, and how do you like the turret viewfinder? is it easy to use?
@vestern2211 жыл бұрын
Hi, I got one today from and old couple, the camera was made in 1966, I don't know how to focus on range finders. I see blurry pic through viewfinder, occasionally I can see one small yellow rectangle. How will I know the subject is in focus?
@markharris57717 жыл бұрын
I have the Zorki 4K but I have never run colour film through it, you've definitely inspired me to try some. Excellent shots at the end, where these off the film you loaded the Agfa? If so it's the second time in two days I've been impressed with this film.your lens is very sharp too. A very good video.

+elmer cuaton Hey Elmer, it might be easier to buy a new working-Zorki. It's not an expansive camera. I guess you can find the turret on eBay. Good Luck!

+elmer cuaton...Do you mean the take up spool ? ....Or the film pressure plate?... If its the take up spool you can buy one very cheaply on ebay...and even if its the pressure plate they can be found on many pars cameras...Ebay has just about anything you could imagine...and then some you couldn't imagine....lol...

does the turret just give you framing for different lenses 28mm,50mm, 135mm ect.? I have the Zorki C!!!
@BermanYaniv10 жыл бұрын
Yes, the turret is only for framing. It imitates the different lenses you can use with the Zorki.

Why the turret viewfinder when you have no other lenses?
@BermanYaniv6 жыл бұрын
The view from a rangefinder viewfinder does not show you the size of the lens installed on the camera. If you wish to understand the proportions of the lens you need the turret. Even if you have only one lens. I'm not saying it should be used regularly, I just show it because I have it.
