If Luffy is the natural counter to Enel, Mr 1 should be the natural counter to Luffy, since he has only cutting attacks and Luffy made of rubber.

Luffy can’t nullify cutting attacks but that doesn’t mean he is weaker to them than any normal person or someone without a defense against them

one of the hardest fights of zoro where he was in the brink of death , however , it allowed him to unleash a new level of power and to be aware that his full potential isnt yet used properly and i think also that it was a hint for both observation and armement haki , observation to know that his sword was under the rock and then the armement to cut down MR1
