It would have been nice to see test on your servo tester to see the actual numbers to compare to your other tests especially current draw at stall and torque.

You got me hooked on crawlers man. I used to love to go fast but I really enjoy the long run times as oppose to the 15-25 minute speed runs. so relaxing but fun as hell to boot. So far I have the element trailwalker and trx4 sport. I like the diversity of these machines. I plan to get an axial next just not sure which one yet. I like the look of the wraith but I hear it's a bear to wrench on. Anyway, thanks for the good content

I just upgraded to a Traxxas 400 and am impressed with the speed (haven't run it) but the transit time might be slower than this but operation appears quicker. All in all I like this direct real world comparison of servos and wondering how this would compare to the 2255.
@ExocagedRC4 жыл бұрын
I've had both of the traxxas servos, believe it or not, the 330 tested stronger than the 400 one.

A small warning! Tried fitting this in an otherwise standard TRX4 Bronco with BEC and found that the servo lead was about 2 inches short. I could test but couldn't reseal the radio box. Extension leads arriving tomorrow!

How do You run the Traxxas Shift Servos at a higher voltage from the ESC without frying them ? are you running them to the BEC ?? any help would be great as I Have the 1080 ESC and currently run it at the lower voltage so that I don't fry the Diff Lock Servos and Two Speed Servo (Like I did after Watching the RC Review Video Setup of his 1080 ESC / Expensive mistake ... love this channel Exo :)

@daver18qc4 жыл бұрын
It's nice that these cheap servos do well, the only thing i have against them is you can't buy a Gear Set for them, so each time you strip a gear, you need a complete servo. This "disposable" mentality needs to stop sooner than later. That's why i'll go with a Savox or Hitec or Tactic or Hexfly unless the chinese start selling Gear Sets too.

@@ExocagedRC so I add bec than I have option to run 8 ?
@ExocagedRC4 жыл бұрын
Paul Clancy depends on the bec. The cheaper ones have a jumper to get either 6v or 7.4v. The castle like I use can go to 9v. Now keep in mind if you have a traxxas like shown you can only put 6v to the receiver and the micro servos. So to get HV to the steering servo you must bypass the receiver.
@paulclancy24044 жыл бұрын
@@ExocagedRC no I do have capra, tho I forgot I have the micro in there too thanks i guess still need to bypass to even run 7.2

I'm glad you "tested" a non-competition class(that includes the braggart class) servo. There will always be precision weighted, carbon fiber shafted golf clubs and titanium frames for bicycles and motorcycles. But celestially priced items like that can lose as many enthusiasts as dollars made on their sale. I also found that one can find extremely powerful, exalted brand servos at a $30+ savings just for NOT being rated 'waterproof'. I got 444 Oz of torque and .14 speed at a rated 6.0 volts from a 'Name-brand' coreless for $30+ less than Traxxas's 400 and other BEC recommended boutique brands.
@ExocagedRC4 жыл бұрын
yeah for sure I do gotta say I'm kinda getting spoiled with the high end servos like the Reefs RAW500. Issue is I'd have to take a loan out to put them in everything. LOL
