Thank you so much for the lovely drive through my favorite place on the Texas Coast. The last time we were going to be there, was October, 2017. You see how that turned out... I am so proud of Fulton for the comeback they’ve made. Except for a bunch of palm carcasses, one couldn’t tell there was ever a catastrophic storm. Thank you again, and we hope to make it down again real soon!

Fished most all of these spots and had really good success. The only one I haven’t fished yet is fish pass jetty. Great video for those looking to get into fishing the Corpus area!
@texasbeachbum4 жыл бұрын
Fish Pass jetties are good because not a ton of people there usually early in the morning. Also the fish will school on the Port Aransas side not the Mustang Island side for about a half mile leading up to the jetty. So you can catch big fish just in the surf if you don't feel like fishing off the jetty. I usually just fish near the jetty in the surf and catch some big reds and trout

No it's not normal;ly like this it is because of the Hurricanes we had out in the gulf washing plastic bottles onto the beach. I from now on am taking a trash bag every time I go fishing and going to get what's all around me. Sad that some people who come here on vacation leave there trash on the beach as well. Get you some Pompano rigs at Walmart. get you a few of them. Use some live shrimp or dead in the surf or at the park in town in Port Aransas. If you fish at the park make sure you cast farther out to avoid the rocks. You can also use a poppin cork with some shrimp at the park that will do real well. You can also use fishbytes from Walmart those work real well anywhere
