Zowie G-SR vs Xtrfy GP4 glide test with G Pro X Superlight (Stock vs Corepads)

I recently bought a gp4 colored version after using the zowie gs-r for 6 months. It's definitely a faster pad(slightly faster than the black gp4), but it somehow has really good stopping power at the same time. Besides it literally being vaccum packed in its undersized box, and making my room smell like a rubber factory for the first week, id say its a worthy upgrade.

Yeah I agree, mine is almost done with the smell but it's still rolled on sides even after 2 nights of pressing it with books. I knew that coated versions are even faster hence I went for black. Video may not show accurate representation of GP4's glide as it's all about how hard I push it but for sure it's faster.

@@vezzie99 i used a towel and an iron with low heat and with the most steam i could get out of it. Worked really well for me. Just remember to not get it too hot :)

does the pad get badly affected by humidity and warm temp?

@@vezzie99 if your hands ever get sweaty does it affect the smooth glide? bcs i have a gigantus v2 and when my hands get warm the pad gets sticky and muddy and its hard to aim precisely

How weird this is exactly the vid I was looking for... Which do you prefer the gsr or gp4 and how do they feel with the corepads? I've used the gsr and from the moment I got them I knew they were over hyped. It wore out within a month and I never bought it again I have been using the Qck but I'm looking for something with a little more control and higher quality. I'm also using the superlight with corepads

Sorry for a late response. After some time using GP4 I like it more than G-SR. It's a bit faster than G-SR but you can always tune your sensitivity down a little bit. Corepads don't scratch my pad unlike stock feet. Personally I always liked stitched mousepads more due to their durability so I can't comment on Qck.

Which version of the gp4 do you think is best the uncoated black version or the coated ones? i’ve heard that uncoated pads last longer so i’m more interested in the black one but i haven’t found any reviews on it and want to know how fast/slow it is in comparison to the coated versions.

coated mousepads are a bit faster than uncoated but over time with use they slow down due to the coating wearing off. From what I understand after about a year a coated version will be almost the same as uncoated. For that reason uncoated mousepads are generally better.

@@mystic-edits9646 not really, its one of the more humidity and temp resistant pads ive used. Only pads that are better for this are super rough and fast pads but those are not really comfortable or good for fps games imo.

Hey! Would you keep the Stock feet for the superlight or would you change to the corepads?

I would definitely change them, stock are super thin and will feel scratchy on the pad.
