It is tenacity for me. I remember watching Zozi being crowned with one of my closest friends at Hobson House, Rhodes University. We were sooo inspired! We knew as Black girls, that we could accomplish anything. A symbolic figure in beauty standards; for amaXhosa; for EC; for SA! Zulu, Mchenge, Dlangamandla!
