I'm really excited. I expect mine in the post today. ZOIC has, by far, the best communication content for users in the business.

Hello, I am new to fossil prepping and I was wondering what is the difference between this and and micro air abrasive. Is there any reason I would need this if I plan to get a micro air abrasive?
@zoicpalaeotech11 ай бұрын
Hi! There are many situations where air abrasives can't be used - it could be that the fossil is softer than the encasing rock, or that the abrasive powder would damage the surface of the fossil. We find that we get a better finish with the Balaur under the microscope on the vast majority of fossils, even where abrasives could be used, although it is naturally much more time consuming.

Man, that's a good tool. But it's pretty expensive.
