I purchased this tablet from the AT&T store about five or six years and have not been able to verify my email address, the AT&T staff was not much help. I tried the reset shown in this video and was able to get to the point when you make a letter U shape starting from the right of the U. The screen did not advance to the app manager screen. Can you assist me with this? What am I doing wrong? I appreciate the help.

"U" Shape must be drawn in reverse not like normal "U" and yellow Strart button not related to it.First enable talkback then do other steps.

This procedure doesn't work. I followed all the steps up to the point where you have to swipe on the screen in order to get to the next step but I don't get the screen the video shows. All I do get is "global context menu" which doesn't help me one little bit and I can't go any further than that. I don't know how so many people can have success with it and not me but there it is. What a waste of time. The only good part of watching this video is the fact that it didn't cost me any money. This gets a thumbs down from me.
