I was playing this song in my bedroom the other day and my roommate's 7 year old son (who was in the other room watching cartoons) stopped what he was doing and peeked his head in and said "Who's that? Love it.Reading a book on Waits now...a few years before this LP, his manager sent him out on tours opening for Frank Zappa (?!) whose fans booed him every night. Tom pocketed the cash, grew a thick skin and kept at it... and he's still around. Tough as old boots.
