I have this problem going on in 3rd to 1st gear it will not lock in u can turn it freely it 3.25 to 5.5 it will lock in and stay do u think this is what’s wrong with mind thanks

Took it to the dealer and he put a new leaf spring and dial knob on it got it to the job and it was still doing the same thing slipping

was the cam retension clip broken on this mower also?

Yes it was. Good eye! I had it ordered one but forgot mention that in the video. I installed a new clip on that mower about a week later when it finally came in.
