I generally try to avoid just playing both at the same time and try to imitate a regular duet cover with these. For me it's usually the voice that gives the most trouble (especially Axel's with this one) though there was one instance where the bgm screwed up with KING here kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXinhoGooLCBrtk)

They could so be singers, like a unit. But I read in the other one who also did these 2, said they had to tune the guy to match enna's, and my only question is why lol.

they did their covers in different pitches so they changed the pitch in order for them to match !!

Axel's cover was done about 4 semitones higher than the original (Enna's was done at the original pitch) so there was a necessity to transpose the pitches to be the same. Unfortunately however, Axel's cover is harder to transpose and as you saw with the other one, ended up distorted so it was better to transpose Enna's voice to match Axel's. Enna's voice distorted less but still it was noticeable so I transposed Enna's up by 3 and Axel down by 1. TL;DR Different pitches clashing. Changed pitch to fix.
