@@waltuh3713 probably so. i am a console player, i don’t use flashlight because how difficult i find it. i have my sensitivity high to turn fast but when i have a flashlight it’s not really all that handy. i wish they had a separate setting for flashlight sensitivity. but even i was able to blind a zombie. mainly the killer i struggle with blinding.

he played right into the lust. The Trapper whiffed early and he just sat there. He needs a pallet stun after and he fails. He then vaults the pallet, killer whiffs, and Zubat sits there again. He fed the lust on a silver platter. Lust is getting buffed due to them not wanting to change broken loops like Leon's office in RPD for example. Or, the window loop on Haddonfield.

the last clip perfectly captures the essence of solo queue. the killer thinks they're hot shit because they threw the game to down 1 survivor with bloodlust 3, and the rest of the team thinks they've done so well that they deserve to escape without saving

he didn't do anything to avoid the bloodlust and went to the worst possible tile knowing the killer had no one dead. He signed his own death certificate there. He needed to drop that pallet early or leave after the first whiff. He decided to stay there and allow the killer to lust him. Plenty of mistakes were made there and it was very clear the killer was avoiding the pallet to avoid breaking the chase. The killer played that correctly, Zubat did not.

@@WutTheDeuceGaming farming bloodlust is not how you play killer lmao, and I'd argue that zubat played that well because he bought as much time for his team as he could while only using one pallet. The killer threw the game by bloodlust farming at 1 gen, and zubat only died because of his team leaving for no reason. With mildly intelligent teammates, that was almost certainly a 4 man escape.

Do not waste time, in mid to high mmr you need to actually stop playing majority of your mindgames. Look at Otz's old cowshed 1v1 if you want plenty of examples on how playing mindgames makes the survivor leave to a different loop gaining ton of time.

@@voidburger2989 this loop is awful. you can get wedged and lose your momentum against every one of the statues, which is terrible because what gives you so many runs around one pallet is being able to be close to the wall, which, you can't do here. don't swing until you've made them take a greedy lap and you can guarantee you can hit them. I literally play Wraith who has to walk at a crawl for a few seconds in chase to get his M2's ability (the baskit old windstorm speed boost) and I know that the best play is to not get extra with your power and to force the survivors into a bad situation bc of their hubris

I haven't played this in well over 6-7 months, and I know this isn't a new thing but how long does it take to got back to where you'd previously fucked yourself and just undo that? @@steeledcelestial2958 nope; 500h on JUST console and I can tell you flashies are 10x easier on PC. the deadzone for the movement to the light is hella iffy at best, and straight up disorenting at worst, you'll aim just below their head and go to correct by a milimeter and you're a lighthouse for everyone to see. cool jab tho, I wonder how much you DC when one of your teammates makes a singular mistake with anything

The last part... That's why I hate to play the game with randoms. And the "rubberband" effect you mention I call rollback, it's problably something related to the killer which the server are more dedicated to be following, so if you are in a part of the map and isn't possible for the killer to be that far from the survivor they "rollback" the survivor so the surv. gets in the same spot as it is shown to the killer in his game. That's a guess, I'm not sure.

Trapper played that correctly. That's an unsafe pallet and Zubat had no way to break chase unless he gets a pallet stun. That Trapper was avoiding the pallet in order for bloodlust to activate. The Trapper couldn't have played that any better imo given the situation. Now if that was early game at 4 or 5 gens, that is a bad play because it means 1-2 gens are popping. Given all the gens were done, that was the correct play to make. Zubat's mistake was not being around his team and then not getting distance after the Trapper whiffed his first attack. He just sat there.

getting killers to lvl3 doesn't mean you're good. It means you're not breaking chase, the OPPOSITE of being good. Break chase consistently and the chase is much longer than a killer downing you off a lvl3 lust. The update is really gonna show you this now that lust activates faster. Good survivors break chases to avoid lust and extend chases. Sitting at an unsafe loop isn't impressive. That Trapper wanted him to do that as evidenced by him actively avoiding the pallet. He played right into that Trapper's hand.

I *think* the rubber banding could be cause by the shitty collisions in this game. Everything on the map uses a mesh collider so the smallest nail sticking out of a floorboard will have collision and fuck you over. One of the wordt examples of this are the cans on haddonfeild, no reason for trash on the floor to have collision on it, and yet...
