Yes, but the First Amendment is not an absolute right to say, and do, whatever you want. Perhaps it should, and maybe that's what you're advocating for, but I don't think it's ever been interpreted by the courts like that. It all depends on what kind of world you want and what kinds of actions might bring us closer to that world. Being that it appears that people can't even agree about the kind of world that is desirable, even in broad terms, it's difficult to come up with a consensus on what 'infringing on our First amendment right' means, or 'threatening' Facebook. Trump acknowledged in this news segment that some of the threats he's made towards Facebook is probably responsible for some of these recent actions at Facebook... or Meta, whatever it's now called. And Trump will now be the government very soon. But I think all or our views on what are legitimate means depends heavily on our feelings about the kind of world each of us wants.
