I would very much like it if all these social media platforms would let the individual users choose their own algorithm, based on what they want to see, and not see. Let people choose what ads they want to see, and which ads they don't want to see. Let people choose how their searches are filtered. Do you want to see everything, or do you want it filtered? How about if anyone is breaking the law, an individual can call the police, or the FBI, and report it. And if someone is injuring other people with civil wrongs, like plagiarism, libel, or slander, letting those people take these people to court, just like the "good 'ole days". And then the platforms can stay out of it, except as otherwise directed by a court of law.

Just remember that they’re leaving up the work to be what atmospheres of users? I mean, to users who either are filtered out during the years of the fact check policy, or remaining users the rest of whom have been practicing to internalize the self-censorship and creat dull and neutered speech (content) suited to survive though the years of fact checking. If nothing else, it's good to see that Zuckerberg got himself a new haircut, and seems to be loosening up, and enjoying life a little. I'm happy for him. For someone worth that much money, and accomplished as much as he did as early in life as he did, he always seemed like he was way too uptight about life. It's good to see him relax into who he is, and becoming much more comfortable in his own skin. Life can be fun and an adventure.
