@@lunavb1wp But I notice how gloomy, glum and grumpy they look. So, then, I wonder do they even like the clothes? Personally, I wish they would make clothes for women who don't want their body parts showing through thin/sheer fabrics or their hip jutting out of a big slit of the side or who would like their breasts fully covered and don't want a huge portion of their leg showing. But I guess modern designers don't care or know about modesty or about women who want to look modest. Pretty fabrics and colors and interesting ideas....but I don't want that much of my body exposed. And if the girls looked excited about the clothes, I would be more inclined to buy it. IF I could afford it.

Wow! This is one of the first times I've seen a fashion couture show and thought, these are beautiful! Only a few ones I cringed at but the rest were quite impressive. This designer seems like he is single-handedly keeping the bead and embroidery business booming. So many sparkles and I am living for it.

It's because it's mixed with Arabic culture. Most of his buyers are Lebanese singers and if some are rejected they were sold to other Middle East countries to the owners of boutiques. So I wore like two of the designers dresses somehow similar that I have seen here in this runway. Mine were pink and the other light blue they were all swipping the floor 😆 besides I'm an upcoming fashion designer hope to be goooood 😝

These dresses are indeed lovely, but they won't change the world in the way that those "shocking" designers do. McQueen, Kawakubo, Galliano, etc have so many more layers to their pieces beyond mere beauty. Their clothes actually question the nature of beauty and ugliness, too. That's why they're timeless, and shows like this will be forgotten.

Most of the time I look for a few minutes and then change the station or link, whatever because I can't fathom the world of contour where so much crap is produced.... and then I see this link and it is the greatest, non stop, brilliant show full of stunning works of art I've ever seen... It is obvious that inspiration came from the royalty of Russian Empire and Russian court gowns as well as Russian national costumes in general.

@@moonlightm1784 I’m not sure why you think the show’s inspiration is imperial Russian court costumes, except for the finale gown, which is clearly a takeoff from one of Catherine the Great’s court portraits and, therefore, more of a theatrical costume than haute couture. If anything, I’d think the theme is high Italian Renaissance with the liberal application of beadings and embroidery , the peplums, the headband, things that a wealthy, young Juliet herself could have worn.

The gowns are exquisitely sumptuous, one of a kind creations that will make every woman feel like a queen wearing them. Yet, because each gown is so encrusted with jewels, beadings, sequins and so elaborately embroidered that they began to look the same. The brain and the eyes are overwhelmed by the over the top splendor, and the excessive embellishments ended up looking more theatrical than haute couture

Such an elegant collection...such a cheap soundtrack. The music should reflect what's on the runway. My recommendation for this is ”No Other” in a loop, by Ólafur Arnalds. Lower the volume and play that in order to enjoy this spectacular fashion show.

Absolutely beautiful collection, the dresses all have such beautiful fabrics and colours, clothes that women would be proud to wear, and actually wearable. Elegant and chic , and you can see the middle eastern influence in the designs. Absolutely love it!
