For viewers who may be unfamiliar with 'Zuisho'; it is a selection of Goyomatsu (Pinus parviflora) which, along with good bark texture and short, dense growth, has the very welcome attribute of being easier to root as cuttings than most Goyomatsu. This also facilitates propagation without ugly graft scars. There is a Zuisho Society in Japan that focuses on the development and exhibition of Zuisho bonsai.

Thank you for the interesting video. I had no idea that Mr Kimura was such a happy person. he always looks very serious. Very sympathic. Of the trees that were auctioned, I actually liked the cheapest one best. Many greetings from Germany.

These prices are incredibly inexpensive compared to the price of bonsais in California, USA.

Truly so. In Japan, if you know places to buy, you can find great prices for bonsai.
