I'm pretty nervous for my first time i wished my mom would've taught me how to drive at a younger age so I would be comfortable at driving instead of me learning late on my own
I agree with you! I’m 18, and I wish I would have learned at an earlier age, it’s a lot to absorb when it comes to driving, and even people that have drove for years still make mistakes. So right now I’m pretty stressed learning everything, so I’m totally with you. Good luck though! And stay safe!

I have to use KZbin videos to learn how to drive, because when I get in the car with my mom she won't actually tell me anything or give me any instructions. She wouldn't tell me what lever is for the turn signal and which is for the windshield wiper, she just expects me to automatically know. And if I accidentally signal wrong she freak outs and yell at me like I'm about to get us killed. Also if we're trying to go somewhere and I accidentally turn into the wrong road, she yells and screams "OH MY GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!"??? at me as if we're about to crash, which just makes my anxiety go through the roof and I have to pull over to calm myself down. Then when I pull over to calm myself down she yells more as if I'm the biggest idiot on earth.

I had to ask my mom how to turn on the windshield wipers while driving 40MPH on a two way road, couldn't see for isht because it was pouring buckets. She didn't tell me which direction I was supposed to turn the lever so I ended up turning the wipers on temporarily--bad bad thing to experience while driving. I'd advise that next time anyone gets in a car, they brush up on where every button and lever is, and their functionality.

I take my road test next week, I’m perfect with parallel parking! But it’s definitely most of the controls inside the car that get me sometimes. this video has a lot of info I need to study on. I will watch it everyday until the day of my road test.

Driving a car requires special skill. Not everyone is blessed with car driving skill.Better keep a driver if possible. Parking and reversing plus driving in the mountains with a lot of hairpin bends is very difficult. But if you master car driving it is unbridled fun.be careful of small k7ds old people and heavy vehicles Follow traffic rules Keep all documents ready for the traffic cops.

4:17 I just upgraded from a series 1 Freelander to a 2 and there is no comparison. I was told by a mate is was a smart move as the Fr 2 is much more comfortable, better seating position and easier to drive etc. I took the plunge and changed to an automatic after 35 years of driving manuals. I made silly mistakes at first like with the buttons for the windows I went to press the button to open the drivers window slightly and opened the rear window drivers side. But soon got used to the buttons. The trick was to get used to them or correct misuse when vehicle is stationary. It can only get better.
