Strongly disagree with the mommy boy. A girl must never ever stay in a bad relation just to have kids. The kids will suffer 200%. Also, if want kids and age is a worry, Fostering is also an option, no?

I agree cause if they can interfere in housing decisions, imagine when the daughter in law is pregnant or when they have a grandchild 😰

@@LunariaxMoon oso the parents suggested that both of them should stay apart even after they are married n have kids. If so, who will the kid stay with? It will most probably be with the husband's family and thats worse.

Yes, a very dangerous foundation underpinning that advice. That's a whole level of age discrimination or a repeat of the 1800s before the woman's emancipation movement happened. Just because you are in your mid-30s and want a child doesn't mean you must suffer an undignified or unhappy marriage. That man-child of a husband needs to level up, not ask the woman to level down.

The lady with the mama husband should just leave the relationship. It’s so toxic. I cannot imagine if they have kids in future

For the last story, my friends and I always talk about the important role of guy plays, in between family and the gf/wife. I feel that in some situations, the guy does not want to do much to strain the relationship with his family, and neglect the girl. But both this guy and the family need to understand, the person u are mistreating is someone's beloved daughter. Im not sure why the family would have something against the girl, but if anything, the man or honestly the boy in this relationship should be stepping up, confronting the family for the girl. She is your family too. Some people may be the non-confrontational type, but honestly, he needs to be there for the girl because its harder for her to have a voice as an "outsider"

I hope the Lord intervenes quickly😭 The men has to empty his balls and create a future with his wife and kids but he has to exercise filial piety or he'll get criticized instead. Oh Lord Please!!! Settle them quickly!!!

Sad to say, in the last submission - if the husband is not keen on doing anything to defend his wife infront of his family, let his wife get bullied and not standing up for her rights, even after talking it out, then it’s going to be a very difficult marriage. This is just the start of a slippery slope. Tbh, I feel that this issue should’ve been hashed out even before marriage. Clearly, the couple has not unlocked this aspect in their relationship before they even decided to BTO or get married, which is really bad and ironic given that family and character of your bf should’ve been understood clearly before any long term commitments. For me, I really cannot stand mummy’s boy so I always make sure to filter them away. Hopefully the girl gets to solve it, otherwise I think 长痛不如短痛 and just put yourself out of them misery asap.

Why doesn't the mother in law think about this... How would she feel If her own husband was told to live apart from her and stay with his family instead? People are absolutely horrid, girl I'd run away like Usain Bolt if I was you. Do not stay with someone who can t think for themselves and will only listen to their mommy, they definitely haven't grown up.

Confession 3: Personally I will run. Why "stay" with a man without living together, have kids together but living separated lifes. If I am born with my dad who has no opinion for himself, I will not listen to him. - just my opinion

On the scenario about the girl experiencing inferiority complex dating a guy with higher SES, it could be related to the guy flaunting their wealth. This can result in a power dynamic in their relationship where she will always feel obligated to him. If he's not taking advantage of this and is just sharing his wealth with her because he loves her, great, otherwise, he could be using his wealth to manipulate their relationship.

I love Brenda and Bolin in this segment. 😍 Wish all of you well, especially to the woman who just got married for 6 months.. I cannot believe that happened to you, got neglected and chased out of the house at 2am? So what if you are in your mid 30s now? I agree with what Brenda said, would you rather single and be happy or.. married but unhappy. You deserve to be happy :)

About the “mamaboy” story, I wonder how does the wife’s parents react to their son-in-law ignoring their daughter and kick her out of the house at 2am (I mean imagine at 2 am, sleeping halfway then suddenly your own in-laws and husband chase you out of the house… 🤷🏻♂️ “W T F ? ? ?”). I’m more impressed why the girl even decide to date him or even more marry to him (maybe honeymoon period or like act act). Alright boys and girls, make sure y’all talk about getting resale or BTO or etc before y’all decide to get married because y’all will be able to see each other’s (both parents included) patterns and problems if not, good luck to you

Scenario 2: the man marry you for you and not your family.. Middle Class is not a crime if your BF is not that mindful and if your BF family is not mindful of your family status. It is NOT A PROBLEM !!!!!

In the scenario where the couple is going through issues with the husbands parents because their BTO got delayed, there's missing information wrt why the husband's parents reacted so strongly to the wife. If the parents have accepted the girl as their son's wife and was willing to let the couple live with them whilst waiting for their BTO, it feels like the girl may not have made the effort to connect with her in-laws and clarify why she's treating their home like a hotel when she chooses as/when to stay at their home. She could have hurt their feelings because she has only communicated with his family only through her husband.

there is a saying that no one will fall for 2 persons at the same time, because if you love the 1st one you will never fall for the 2nd one. but then again, the 2nd guy might just be a crush because he gave her the attention she want on that time. i mean there is no correct answer in this topic of love what best is she feels comfortable.

Confession no.3.. how are they able to get married in the 1st place?? This kind of vibes/problem with any 1 side of the family should be obvious way before the couple decided to get married... the hubby's family definitely not treating the wife as part of their family..

I feel like Bolin and Brenda missed the entire point of the second confession, they simply assume the girl doesn’t want to make more money/doesn’t know how to but the key thing to unpack here is that her feelings probably stem from her already working as hard as she can but still seeing this huge gap in SOL between her and her bf. She is torn between her feelings of resentment that her bf having things “handed” to him as he comes from a better family but at the same time she loves the guy and knows she should be happy for him instead. Investment is NOT THE ANSWER. She may want to invest and may even be good at it but when she is earning 2.5k a month and might even need to support her family, there simply would not be any spare cash lying around for her to invest. Even if she did manage to invest a couple hundred a month, such methods scale off the principal amount which means she may really only see a difference 15-20 years later if at all. Additionally she may not want to ask her boyfriend as she already has feelings of inferiority when comparing herself to his situation which seems to be something B&B did not address. It was an oversimplification of her feelings and issues and I felt that it came across as a rather inconsiderate assessment of her confession. Overall I still love the series, please keep it up guys but it would be nice to focus more introspectively and emphatically for the confessor.
