Instantaneous grab release is correct. In this case it looks like it was caused by falcon being in an incompatible spot (below the ledge). I don’t know super specific details but this happens from time to time, also something you might see if someone grabs a spacie side-b and get hit by it on the same frame or gets projectiled while grabbing.
