It is NEVER dated or a bad thing to reference Arrested Development!
@marlowcowan53434 ай бұрын
Arrested Development is one of the best shows of all time. I'll die on the hill that it will never be dated. Even when inflation has made Bananas actually cost $10 or the Star War is a real thing to watch.

Nice! Also would love a Bruse tarl or drafna brawl video. During spring here in Finland, we have a holiday for students and workers, where people go on picnics and wear their distinctive white graduation hats. Even non students wear them and the hole city is ful of white hatted cheerful people.

You cant be surprised when your opponent has a Thirst for Narset
@reddragonminecraftmodsandm43664 ай бұрын
Couldn't the tinybones player have sacrificed whatever creature the wandering emperor targeted to Phyrexian tower and hit for lethal? (Or does the emperor still get the lifegain?) Though cgb could have targeted his own zurgo and ojitai for the win, but as the opponent I wouldn't have assumed my opponent would see that play.
@chewy31414 ай бұрын
Emperor still gets the lifegain. If it said "exile a creature. If you exile a creature, gain life" then you'd be right, but they're two separate pieces/effects technically
@TsujiCross4 ай бұрын
But if a spell or ability loses all its valid targets, doesn’t the whole thing just completely fizzle tho?
@chewy31414 ай бұрын
@@TsujiCross I believe it only fizzles if all targets are illegal; your face is still legal for healing, so it'll still do that (funny trying to word that lol)
@reddragonminecraftmodsandm43664 ай бұрын
@@chewy3141 maybe, but emperor never targets you. Something I know from playing ikoria draft is if the target of fire prophecy dies, you don’t get to shuffle back a card, even though that’s listed as a separate thing.
@rakdos364 ай бұрын
If the tageted creature gets removed the ability fizzles and you dont gain life. If all instances of target( indicated by the term target and only target not anything any other wording) become invalid the spell/ability is countered. Its why for example when your creature is targeted by sword to plowshares and you cast a spell to grant it hexproof you dont gain life.

There's plenty of discussion about the monarchy here in The Netherlands whether it should stay or if we should have a republic instead. Regardless, we celebrate King's day every year on the 27th of April and it's a national holiday for everyone and there's lots of partying and fun stuff to be had. Our Memorial Day is on Star Wars day (May 4) and the day after is Liberation Day where we celebrate the end of WWII for our country. In many surrounding countries Labor Day is a day off for everyone, but it is not observed here. Instead, we celebrate the day by going to work XD

I know you said you’re not running ramp, but Lapis Orb of Dragonkind is busted with Zurgo, you scry 2 every time you cast a dragon spell, which pairs well with Zurgo choosing from 3 cards, you can set it up to basically choose from 5. On top of adding one mana of any color.

Enjoyed the video, gonna try to mirror this the best I can not gonna lie. New to Magic to a degree, understand the concept and played a few games back in the day; but this seems like a deck I could use to understand things better and get some dubs out of it too.
