She was my favorite female character since a first season. The most faithful wife, the most kindest person, I will miss for her. I really hope Floki will find something to live and will make something special, before he go to Valhalla and meet his family and friends.

Weeeeell...that’s true buuuuuut...her kindness was also misguided. The truth is that Helga’s intentions were quite good, but she was completely blind to what the child was really going through. It’s not her fault, but I wouldn’t exactly say she was completely innocent at that point either

Helga was my favorite female characters...in fact, she exemplifies the ideal Norse woman better than any of the other female characters, because she alone had the loyalty, patience and kindness of a genuinely strong woman. To Valhalla, Helga...after years of putting up with Floki, you've earned it!

I just finished season 5 of this show and I never remembered me being so upset and angry about a character being killed, they way Ragna (my favorite character) died was horrible but they Helga died was PAIN, I felt pain poor sweet Helga being a good person got her killed.

Exactly! Unfortunately although helgas intentions were good, she didn’t realize that her attempts to care for the child were severely misguided. It’s not her fault, but at the same time it was.

I loved Helga. She was a wonderful character and her connection with Floki was beautiful. She balanced him, and for the most part, was the only one who came close to truly understand him. I loved Helga, and she will be missed

I though the storyline with Helga and the adopted girl in the second half of season 4 was weird and they way she died unworthy of her character. Still in the other seasons she and Floki together was quite fascinating

Yeeeeeah I’m still not sure how I feel about it. Helga was my favorite character, she was so good. It seemed odd at first that she went off the rails with caring for the child. Because honestly I feel like the point was that Helga had sorta lost it and didn’t have the ability to realize just how traumatized and distraught the child was by having her family slaughtered and being taken away, no amount of kindness will fix that. In fact it’s probably what motivated the child to kill her at all. Because let’s be honest, helgas kindness was based in selfishness when it came to the child. I suppose it just goes to show that nobody is perfect. And even the best people can make fatal mistakes

I loved Helga and Floki, you could tell from the beginning they loved each other so much and the loss they went through with their daughter was so hard on them but they always persisted. They were always there for each other, even through the hardest times and through the happiest. It's true love, and it's sad that she had to die. She was always the one to pull him back when she saw him slipping, especially when he was overwhelmed by fatherhood and felt like he was losing Ragnar. Helga was such a wonderful wife and person, rest in peace

Great tribute! I loved their relationship. The only one on the show where there was no betrayal--there was only loyalty, support, and love through some very difficult times. As Floki said, Helga was his heart.

When she died his heart died, and that kills me because they loved each other so much. Even after everything that they’ve been through together, they were always by each other sides, and he seemed to love her a great deal. Even if there wasn’t a lot of physical affection between them, they cared about each other a lot.. And now Floki has nothing left

Helga was so important...I hated that they killed her only for "kill important characters" it was unnecessary, not now... she was so miserable after lost her child, and the fucking kid that she found and protect killed her for the kindless human being on earth. *Helga deserved better* but well, they prefered kill her only for make a good storyline to Floki. I sure needed this after last episode. It's amazing how you edit exactly what I wanted to watch. This is a new masterpiece! My poor Floki, I really felt his despair... this is too much, especially after Ragnar.
