Jacqueline, I can't stress just how much of a godsend the advice about reversing until the curb disappears under the door handle really is. I just couldn't parallel park for the life of me, I always turned the wheel too early or too late and I just couldn't figure it out. The first time I tried the door handle trick, I got a perfect parallel park and I'm now consistent. Thank you so much for everything! I passed my driving test so easy today, and I owe it all to you and this wonderful KZbin channel. I learned almost ALL of my driving knowledge from this channel. I just passed my test!! I'm 22 and it took me forever to get comfortable even sitting behind the wheel but your videos helped so much! For anyone wondering, I had a lot of trouble doing the parallel and reverse parking but I didn't hit and cones and even though it took some time I got in there, and I still passed! You can do it, just practice!

IM SO PROUD OF YOU!! i’m almost 21 and i’m a mother of 4 (two fur babies) and working on my license. i was in a near death accident when i was 3 so i have a lot of PTSD sitting behind the wheel. i had to suck it up while i was pregnant because my husband had surgery and with his meds he couldn’t drive. i hadn’t driven since i was pregnant until this last week and, unless i have 700 things being said to me at once, i’m super calm and collected. haven’t tried parallel parking yet so i’m going to learn that next!

This method seems easier than what I’ve been taught which is turning all the wheel all the way to the right , and then looking for the 45 degree angle which is V shape in the right mirror back door handle touches curb , then straighten wheel , keep reversing until front door handle touches curb ( like the only reference point in this video ) and then all the way left and pivot .

When you go into reverse, just look in the mirrors without putting your hand on the front seat and turning your face, just look in the mirrors or the reverse camera

What's the point of watching her park when every time she does you keep showing footage from other people parking? I want to see exactly how she is doing. How can showing someone else parking give a better view? What's wrong with her parking job? So stupid.
