I wanna say somethin that everyone may not know, this song and “cant shake it” are covers. The originals are from a little band called The Angels (aka Angel City for you yanks). The Angels are from Australia and were made in 1978 and 1980

This is the kind of song that set Great White apart from the other Big Hair rock bands of the 80's for me, the poignant bluesy vibe. Along with other songs like House of Broken Love, these guys put some emotion into it while other contemporary bands were just banging their heads.

One of the first 10 hard rock /metal albums I owned. Got hooked on this one for a while. Pure 80s indulgence when you hear it now . The first track blew my mind. The build up, the keyboard, bass, bass drum and then that riff. And if that wasn't enough you get the voice, the silky-smooth rough edge vocals and finally the brilliantly crafted lead guitar and probably the best ending to a pure metal classic. This one another great track of the album. Anyway if you wondering what the other 9 albums are Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell Keel The Final Frontier Metallica Ride The Lightning Dio The Last In Line Queensryche Operation Mindcrime Megadeth Peace Sells Judas Priest British Steel Slayer Reign In Blood Anthrax Among The Living Iron Maiden Somewhere In Time makes the first 11 albums that I owned

Still some metal elements left behind on this album from their 1984 debut that was panned by the record label EMI America who then dropped the band. Great things were definitely in store for these guys as well as some not so great things... Still, they continue to be masters of their craft.
