For those who are seeing this video 2+ years later like me, just know that if you do get duplicates of the fishing rewards all is good! They all can be put in the shimmer to be turned into any of the other two fishing items.

The Compass and Depth-meter are both great when building. 2 unit is equal to one block. So if you are doing a big project like a mob farm that requires more than a hundred blocks, those info are great.

Adding to the fishing tips, the game actually checks for different NAMES not characters for turning in quests. So, if you create a character "A", turn in a quest, delete the character, and create another character named "A", you won't be able to turn in another quest. If, however, you just rename your main character (or any character) and rejoin, you can turn in another quest.

I always like a project when playing Terraria, even if I never use said item. I could be playing Mage and I'd still wanna make the Terra Sword, for example. The Cellphone is always one of those things I start work on immediately, stockpiling the resources, and such. It's just too useful to NOT have. My friends and I are considering our first ever Master Mode run, and one of our friends always does NOTHING but fish. He's obsessed with it in any game, and Terraria is no different. So for once, I'm actually 100% OKAY with the idea of him mindlessly fishing while the rest of us do other tasks. We could set him up a nice fishing spot at one of the beaches and let him collect Fish Finder components for the rest of us.

I used the glitch a while back where you can glitch the guide into making anything you want so I didn’t even have to go get the materials but then I trashed it without even knowing because I was cleaning my inv and I forgot to fav it so here I am, watching...

Tip: When you catch the quest fish wanted by the Angler. Give it to him and if he doesn't give you what you want *cough sextant* then close your application or alt F4. Go back into the world and you'll be able to do the fishing quest again (it'll be at the same spot so i recommend finding a fishing quest close to the anglers housing). (If you move the angler to a difference housing area close to the fishing spot be sure to save before doing the quest) It's best to turn off auto save, its fine if you dont but be sure to be a bit quick with it.

I did get it on pre hardmode lollolol tips? Build a cavern farm an dungeon farm idiot and do quest every 24 minute

Tips while in cavern afk farm and others is just sleep in bed so you can do fishing quest more faster but it slowdown your farm a bit i recommend made jungle biome because mobs spawn rate increases 50 % and use battle potion and water candle and put a dart trap in each side of your farm so mobs dont despawn

Just finished this yesterday for the first time. Over my playthrough all items happened to be byproducts and only had to buy a few pieces from merchants that i looked up on the wiki. I am a hoarder though so i tried collecting 1 of each Accessoire before i even got any good in the game.
