i mean shield’s mostly doing it to point out that he knows the entire routine and can predict what’s coming next. kinda like a “you’ve done this before” or “you’re so predictable” battle move. tho i find it silly since it doesn’t matter how predictable your opponent is when your opponent’s round is just flat out better than yours lol
