Really nice job on those. This gives me something to use as a base for when I paint my Xyston 15mm elephants. I am half Aussie so was rooting for Australia, but knew they would have a tough time. I am a Canadian and we had a great game vs Belgium despite losing 1-0.

Shame about Zvezda being Russian and therefore hard to obtain, they do make some excellent figures and kits. Let's hope they are among the survivors of this dreadful war

Just curious: as most of my armies are 1/72, what is the height of these from base to top of back? I find that most in this scale are too small (under 40mm in height) & had a devils job to find some many years ago, but oddly on a visit to OZ I found some resin ones (made in China - cringe) at a shop in the Brisbane Zoo's elephant section which were perfect (& cheap, only about $3 ea) - just needed to scratch build the accessories for them. Yours look great, by the way.

Height base to top of back = 45mm. Base to top of Howdah = 65mm. In the one not rearing up. I'll look out for elephant models if I ever go to Brisi zoo :)

@@greatsouthernancientminiat8812 Try some of the 'nick-nack'/ornament shops, as I saw some in there as well. They were 40-45mm (base to top of back); they didn't have tusks but I used toothpick ends which worked well. They also came in a number of poses, & of course are ready (& well) painted - shame I only needed 1 (used a couple as they looked so good)

I like this brand but since the invasion of Ukraine, I just cannot buy them, or even complete the sets i already have. Good video, sorry about the politics, but time to take a stand!

Yeah. I've been buying a lot of V and V ( 28 and 40mm) from Ukraine. Awesome quality and more ethically palatable.
