Damage raka depends so much on early game autos and Q poke. She falls off mid to lategame, but for those first 10-15 minutes, you can pretty easily exert dominance and just shut down any attempts to engage on you using your E. Self healing from Q is actually kinda nuts. And you can save yourself from burst with Q+R, denying hard carries the early game kills they need. It can absolutely backfire on you, but it's completely valid if you have the team comp for it.
