Caitlyn and Jhin tank with titanic hydra have a very devious use of the item active. You can buildup for your 5th or 3rd autoattack respectively, and when you use it, press the titanic hydra active to do your bonus crit auto + the damage from the item. tank Jhin/Caitlyn is actually very viable on Aram for this reason. Easy ~800+ burst on squishies, plus if you run cut down, you still have very decent pressure against tanks.

If you want to try tanklyn again maybe build like a bloodthurster. I feel like the lifesteal would help really well to stay alive. But maybe it doesnt cause you dont deal that much damage. At least normal full build caitlyn almost oneshots the squishies

Try Tankaisa! I'd go for Heartsteel, Berserker's, Riftmaker, Terminus and Bloodmail in order to get all 3 upgrades while being quite beefy. Jak'Sho last item should sync well. Grasp and Overgrowth runes also help a lot, and I also like Alacrity.

But should it, though ? You gotta expect everything when you play a multi game, that's the point. People come up with different builds and different ideas. If everytime you enter a game and expect the adc to build adc items, supp building support items and so on, you're not adapting. Just because people play a game a certain way does not mean everybody has to play that way too.

I think there are a few reasons for that 1. He’s often trying unconventional roles like support mid/jungle or builds that aren’t necessarily the most optimal ones for a champ 2. It’s harder for him to make commentary when he has to focus on the gameplay 3. Most people just want to watch him winning I’m not saying it’s necessarily good that he smurfs but it’s just more fun to watch something chill and listen to him talk, besides he has a few climb challenges I think where he plays also in higher elos
