This was their debut show. The audience had no idea what to expect. There had been rumors that it was an acoustic set. So when they came out and started with rock song the crowd went nuts. I paid some guy 30 bucks for a tix. That was expensive for me back then.

+Kev's Bootlegs I rarely see that much glee on Corgan's face. I think this song they chose as their "Cherub Rock of Zwan" - that considered introduction. Cherub Rock is to Siamese Dream as Chrysanthemum is to Zwan. Billy liked the reaction I think. You don't hear that much roaring rolling crowd noise throughout a song that often.

Saw them perform this and other songs, at the now defunct Spaceland in Silver Lake. One minute, the guys and I are waiting in line to get into this little club where Billy and Jimmy’s new band is going to play, and the next I see a guy that looks like Jimmy pass by and a really tall bald dude pass by too. The crazy rumor was actually true. It was an amazing night and I can’t believe I got to be there.

Saw them 2 nights later in Santa Ana... They opened with this as well... Blew me away!!!! So damn good!!! Being there in person was an amazing experience!!! This and a few other songs, were IMO the best, but yet never made it on the album....

These guys were just incredible right off the bat. I remember listening to this song and thinking "I think I like these guys better than the pumpkins". I really wish they would have done studio recordings (or at least released them) of all these classic songs. I was disappointed when the album came out that songs like this and cast a stone were not on there. :-(

This song should have been on the album. Could have been a single. Also Zwan should have stayed a 4 piece with David Pajo on bass. The 3 guitar thing was overkill and they probably wouldn't have split like they did if Paz hadn't been in the band.

This is proof they should have just stayed a four piece band. The three guitar thing ended sounding too messy and it's not like Pajo added much on guitar anyways...but he's playing bass great here. Paz added a bunch of female drama that the band didn't need. It went from 4 dudes rocking out to a bunch of dudes fighting over the hot bass player.
