Boom, you got the jersey too! Really great climb, Lee. 🎉👊🏻

Thanks Jonathan. 👊 Not quite as cool as your split jersey from the PRL ride, but I don't bag them often, so it was nice to get.

@@lee-cycling Sprint jerseys can be won by riding smarter, but KOM jerseys only by riding harder. They’re tougher to get IMO. That’s a prize.

The music with "nobody is laughing here" sounds like the perfect soundtrack for the climb portal 😅👌 Great effort as always 💪

Thanks Georg 😆I love the Climb Portal, though! But, yeah point taken: I definitely don't laugh whilst I'm on it.

@@lee-cycling team racing is a different beast and the rider doesn’t always get to ride to their strengths. Just ask HCT how many races I’ve had to drop back in 😉

Wow, impressive. No end in sight for the power gains. Watch out for getting bumped to A. Every time I look at their results there's like only a few riders. Scratch races anyway.

Thanks Roger. I think I'm a way off A still. But you're not wrong about it being a ghost town. And this is peak Zwift season right now.

That was very, very fast. Looks like your brain perceived those 320 watts as a floor, not an average 💪 Did well to modulate power, and even go over 500 at the end. Really look forward to seeing this boost translate into races as well. And you are getting dangerously close to A cat territory 💪🤩
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
Thanks Thomas 👊 I think that's probably right. I didn't have much of a plan going into it. Once I got to the second gate and it said the average was around 320, I thought I'd see how many gates I could keep that up for, and I think my brain did what you say. I think I'm probably safely distanced from A cat for a while, though. And I still seem to suck at racing, despite any gains I've got from FRR. Just can't ever push through in a race. I will seek comfort in the Climb Portal 😢

@@lee-cycling sometime you should go into a race ending atop a semi-long climb with the sole goal of wearing either yourself or the opponents out completely
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
@@MrPedel sounds like a very good goal. I got kind of close to that on the final stage of FRR. I was battling a rider up the Epic. He got past me over the top, but I killed myself to get him on the RT. But, as we were all lower beings, he might not have been so serious about it. Meanwhile I'm there treating it like it's life and death.

Great climbing Lee and a bonkers fast time up that hill! It looks like you've made another big fitness gain from doing the FRR tour and the PRL full, congrats mate! 👊💪💪💪
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
Thanks Mark. Really enjoyed this. Judging from your performance in those Tiny Races, I think FRR has given you some gains, too. If you're not back to form yet, you must be pretty close to it. Bet you would slaughter this climb.

@@lee-cycling I dunno Lee, I'm not feeling that great at the moment, still really fatigued. Tomorrow's race will be a good test, but I think you and Rob will be the ones at the end 💪💪💪

@@lee-cycling I forgot to say, it was really impressive that you stayed seated until the end of the climb, that low cadence and high power would have killed my knees!

@@MarkyMarkZwifts Funny you say that, because a lot of the time, I was thinking "Mark would be doing his out the saddle riding here", and wondering if I was hurting my time/power.

Hello, DoomGuy here. First of all, awesome climb Lee! 330w for a lot of that 💪 secondly what did GHT stand for?
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
Hi, DoomGuy. Nice to meet you. Thanks, homey. The GHT is the category I was in for the FRR series. You have to add it to your name so the results can be filtered, and so other riders can see what category you're in (so they know if they're racing you or not).

@@lee-cycling thank you! Once again, awesome effort. It seems like a race against time for us to race before you get whisked away into A. 💪💪💪
@lee-cycling10 ай бұрын
@@doomguyzwifting I don't think I'll be heading to A any time soon, if ever. I don't think I have what it takes to get there. It's much more likely you will. But we definitely do need to get in a race together. It's been a long time coming!
