@lucasgawor1059 it makes so that instead of your cpu having limited access to your gpu recources to having full access this makes it so the cpu and gpu communicate better with each other , it decreases latency and increases fps anywhere between 0%-45% , downside is that a lot of games don't support it or reduce performance instead of increasing it , the intel arc needs it on at all times to make it run properly

I've been using the Arc A770 for almost a month now. This card performs well in all latest titles to be honest, and even in dx11 titles when u turn down MSAA (only GTA V, other titles dont even need to turn down anti-aliasing) the card performs very well. There are minimal to almost no stutters most of the time. U wouldn't notice the difference between a similarly priced Nvidia or AMD card while playing until you turn on the fps counter. And also this card can run 4K pretty decent and give 30-60+fps even in new titles whereas the competing red and green cards would've run out of VRAM already.

Well you wouldn't notice the difference between most midrange GPUs if you turn off the FPS counter. The human eye is just not wired that way. But that doesn't mean it's the wrong way to test the potency of GPUs.

I have an AMD GPU and I use XeSS in cyberpunk because it doesn't have ghosting, it's actually pretty decent to use on all GPUs so I hope you try it out in other GPU benchmarks too!

Kryzzp , a detail which you need to make perfectly clear to your viewers is that whoever wants to buy those ARC , must have rebar always enabled through their motherboard. This is hugely important since many people have older CPU/motherboards which doesn't support rebar. Even Intel themselves made it very clear that those users should go for an RTX3060 instead( Tom Petersen had said that ,who is a former high-ranked nVIDIA employee who now works for Intel) My system is an AM4-3700X based ,and my brother's is an AM4-2700X based , so you understand that our systems are unsuitable by default for an ARC purchase (*not that i would buy one , as you well know i'm a very long-term nVIDIA fan since my Riva TNT2 Ultra back from 1999 ,but ,my brother could potentially buy one ). ---Many famous reviewers recently have done a ... "revisit" in those GPUs ,praising ARC's improvements ... though ... curiously they "forgot" to say a word about what those improvements are when rebar isn't enabled !!(something which they 😉didn't forget in their original reviews) This means that their "revisit" is worthless and even misleading(*if i want to think with a little more cunningly) to all those people who still have older mobos/CPUs like my brother's or myself. I believe that unlike those reviewers(they are doing hardware reviews for decades ,so they couldn't simply "forget" something like that) you should exploit that matter in your future videos.

Hey there, awesome video !!! ;) Really enjoyed it :) As far as XeSS goes, it has ultra quality mode unlike DlSS or FSR which dont have it. Xess Ultra Quality mode is designed for best visual fidelity that supossed to look better than native image while having a very similar performance to native resolution. If You want something that would produce nice image quality thats close to native resolution while also getting decent boost in performance- You should test games using XeSS Quality mode which is very similiar to DLSS and FSR Quality modes in terms of native rendering resolution :) oh and by the way, Im a bit dissapointed You didnt test XeSS in Hogwarts Legacy :( Please more Intel Arc A770 and XeSS !!! Keep up the great work ;)

I love replaying old classics. With technologies such as DLDSR (deep learning DSR) you can enjoy games at another level. This makes Intel GPUs a not so appealing option. At least to me. On the other hand it is great seeing another company make GPUs. Why? Competition is what forces a company to be it's best version of itself. When there is not enough competition companies become increasingly complacent with the products they deliver.

They Have potential And even RT performance seems good for a first Gen Product. Just posted my A750 in 2023 video on Friday haha. The A770 doesnt suffer from the same issues in TLOU as the A750. The frametime graph in TLOU is abysmal with the A750! But it actualy beat the RX 6600 XT in more games than it lost, and was much better with RT. Intel is really catching up, and I reckon next gen will be awesome. Also, I am not plugging my videos here at all, I just like to compare results with our dear Krizzp here as I enjoy and value his work.

@@magik97 At 1080p medium and high there is periodic stutter, not VRAM related as it goes away at 1440p and 4k. It is a stutter every 5 seconds exactly. Tried the 4499 and 4502 drivers and still it happens.

Right now it costs $100 more than a 3060 12gb has 30% less performance on average, is lacking all premium features and drivers make it unable to run a very large amount of games... The 3060 v Arc A770 in Canada is only 279 Cad being equal to 191.30 euros for June 2024. Hopefully its prices will be more affordable in the very near future for people in Europe to enjoy the same excellent deal for a mid range card of a performance like this with good quality features as well. Whereas the most affordable 3060 is still 30% more than the Arc A770 in the west. But for 556 CAD as 380 euros can get you a 7900 GRE with tax included for a card quite literally double the stats than a 3060 card in the west for June 2024.

I hope it's not your actual main GPU at least not yet. It definitely has the raw power to be much more impressive than it currently is. Intel really messed up the release of these. Imagine getting RTX 3070+ performance with 2x VRAM at $350 at a time the 3070 was going for $500+ if the drivers were good. It could've been amazing and shaken up Nvidia and AMD. No surprise that Intel messed it up.

I think with Newer Titles The A770 will probably Bridge the gap between it and the 3070 as it gets more optimized but right now they are still talking about it beating the 3060

I’m not sure but that first round in fortnite that crate that was opened with the weapons I’m pretty sure that was one I opened while playing on my gtx 1660 super which if you test with a Intel i7 2600k with 16gb of extra ram it’s stutternite at max until it fixes up overtime

16gb a770 is almost on par with 6700xt today. Bought acer bifrost a770 for 220 usd used. Managed to ovverclock it and its been stable despite using 252W at full load.

I have a family pc and need everyone to be able run it without driver glitches. For that reason alone im sticking with my old 1080 ti until a solid upgrade or replacement is available.

No shame in that. This is a very good card if you got some disposable cash lying around and wanna experiment (cos drivers). I hope Intel keeps trying but this could become a rare card one day. A historical oddity.

I hope they keep making affordable and accessable GPU for half of the price as the mainstay GPU brand's. Now the only thing they must do a double time of work is the driver itself, better driver and better optimize gpu.

I think Raytracing for Nvidia will reach good performance with Nvidia 6000 series, AMD 9000 series and for Intel with the 3rd gen cards. Until then raytracing is not worth it.
