Such nostalgia, I knew instantly, you were going to use manic miner as a demo and when, you said, I don't know what the keys are..... The amount of times I shouted that to my brother as a young kid. Took me right back.

We where expecting flying cars and portable thermonuclear reactors by 2015, but got this :) Plugging a speccy to a HUGE screen - one of most satisfying things in the world! )

What is it called the interface thingy with sd card?

Those apps do not support multi-load games without you hovering over the pause button which is a b1tch if you miss it, they are not compatible with some games with different loaders like R-type, , and the audio coming from devices such as cell phones is in mV, which often won't trigger the ULA in SOME older ULAs. Your best bet is to get a Maxduino device that supports automatic multi-load pause and outputs the audio at around 3v on the amplitude.

Do you think this would work Stereo in my Samsung S7 and mono in the ear side? or mic side? .........because you have used stereo jacks (2 lines) in your phone and in the speccy?
@SHGRetro4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you can use it that way if you have the standard speccy cable into the Ear socket! I showed both types to give you the idea!

I've finally got my original 48k rubber key, comp modded & hooked up to my phone I've found it a bit hit & miss with loading what volume setting do you have app setting & phone set at?
@SHGRetro4 жыл бұрын
Leave the app as standard and set your phone to max volume! Some Rom's won't load but it's down to the Tap file, not your setting! PlayZX will give you few file options on certain games so select each one until you find the best loading rom!

Wow this is so cool!! I just bought a Spectrum 128k +2, but i was struggling to get games and this is so cool. I can't wait to lead the games from my phone. TY so much for this video. This is just pure gold!!! How did you conect it to the new tv? Does it work with just a AVcable or is it HDMI? ty
