They already said that Penacony would only be dark in 2.1 which we saw. Otherwise it was stated it was a cheerful story on the planet of festivities. Besides the latest quest was a closure to Penacony, literally titled "Goodbye Penacony." As for Firefly, you can dislike her. She's not as good as compared to other characters but her relevancy is due to her being a part of the Stellaron hunters which is an important faction we will see again.

@@user-xx0906 penacony story was never dark. The creature that we thought was "Death" was just misha's pet, name = "dormancy". In fact misha stated that "death" was harmless. The entire plot of penacony is built around pretentious fake death and pretending that it's real. I don't even think the charmony festival had anything remotely... big. It felt like a buildup for Sunday yapfest which Sunday and even robin are still both a foreign characters to us... more than NON-PENACONY characters that are in v2.0-v2.3. That's just not a good way to tell a region story when we focused so much on non-penacony related things during v2.0-v2.1. And you're right, but not just that, the idea of firefly being the robot with a manly voice + being a huge waifu bait when shes out of the robot, as a concept, is just pure cringe from my perspective. Even her animated "robot dies" or a bunch of clones dying into her blooming a freaking tree. it's all over the place LOL. I honestly think Firefly's introduction was a mistake but people won't care coz they're too busy simping for every character in HSR coz they're hot even if their story ain't good.
