Im not sure if this is true, but my friend once talked about it with me, whose also a xiao main so i believed her due to her being a lore lover. Xiao literally wears pieces of cloth or things from each one of his dead friends. Thats why his outfit is oddly colorful and busy despite him being associated with green. That purple scarf on his waist is a piece of that said friend’s clothing so his artifact set ONLY makes sense for him. i literally benched my xiao until i get that artifact set purely because i just want to have it on him, it feels right

depending on the character, that's not hard to do while still making them good. Like he pointed out, most of the characters' best artifacts also match their aesthetic. I personally think Shimenawa's Reminiscence fits Yoimiya far better than gladiator's, and it's easy to farm too since it's in the domain with arguably the most universally good artifact set. Not everyone agrees that the 4 piece Shim is truly yoi's best set-up, but it's certainly one of the best things you can give her, if not, just as good as the best, and it looks perfect on her.

Yeah I'm a fan of aesthetics and enjoy Fashion Impact too. Not to this degree, but still I can understand it. Matching units with the right gliders, weapons etc...But I've also considered putting Yoimiya on 4p Bolide. It really does look perfect on her, but it really is a viable set, esp since a lot would use her with a shield. It's as you said though, who farms it. Especially when Emblem/Shimenawa exist. At least it's in the strongbox now though. So the option is there.

Alot of people play Genshin without giving Artefacts a much of a deeper thought about stats and how they sync with a char, though they still have fun cause they like to run around finding chests and have even some harder fights in the overworld. So play as u like and as it brings u fun, its only a thing what goals u wanna achive and what makes u happy. For weeklys and Instances u can always go CO-OP so nothing to go crazy there. And honestly thats the beauty of Genshin where everyone can play as he/she likes to.

Ok but fr as an artist myself the husk and tenacity set do slap on Kazuha (aesthetically). For Yae Miko's flower I really like the idea of a blue one, I'd personally go with Echoes/Wanderers since it's a softer blue, if she had a 2p atk/em + 2p atk it would still be a good set that doesn't reduce Yae's energy but still matches. But that's just my personal preference anyways Also it could make for an interesting abyss challenge! Specially if you also needed to match the weapon. Maybe the whole team, too.

Actually, it's not a bad idea. For example, if one plays normal atk xiao with that ayato set, it can give big damage, but the playstyle would be really niche. Again, deepwood memories on sucrose is possible is dendro dmg teams like hyperbloom or burgeon team. However, you will need real good stat, I mean god stats to make that functional.

bro I just recently started playing Genshin like 4-5 months ago and I just recently realized that I can actually farm for artifacts. I'm not even joking. I was relying on the 4-star artifacts that the bosses drop. It's not cap and I think i also focused on the story so much that I just want to meet all of the archons. I never wanted to do world quests. just archon quest. rn i'm alr done with the archon quest of sumeru, but i still have a bunch of world quests in Inazuma. I don't even know at what part of the map enkanomiya is at. I now realize that I suck at this game and that it would actually take me some time as I fix my account. maybe like 2-3 months to fully fix my characters and do world quests. I also didn't know that they had talents that I need to level up, so my characters talents are either super lvl 5 or lower. And as i watch this video, I feel like choking myself to death because I can actually relate to her situation. like bruh Lesson learned: DO YOUR RESEARCH WHEN PLAYING A GAME, DO'NT FIGURE OUT AS YOU GO!!

Since it's adviced that you don't farm for artifacts until you reach ar45, it's not that bad actually. You are still kind of new to the game, unlocking things like enkanomiya when you aren't done with the archon quests sounds more like homework rather than extra content. Don't worry, once you run out of content you will start with the world quests lol

The artifacts on Yelan is actually the most relatable one to me. It's so hard to farm artifacts that has both crit and dmg. I don't have yelan but I get the ugly artf mostly. Also, too much DEF and HP in domains so. I'm getting tired of farming artifacts. I'll just focus to my achievements instead

I actually strike a balance between aesthetics and optimisation. Like artifacts it's a must to be optimise but weapons sometimes I chose aesthetics but not if the weapon is completely useless on them

That account is actually why genshin doesnt have an endgame. They look at their stats and they see accounts that are geared like that but yet spending thousands of dollars vs some F2P account thats geared properly, who would mihoyo cater the difficulty for? The thousand dollar account that can barely beat the current content? Or the 0 dollar account that beats the current content easily?
