I noticed that most content creators don't say this but to add to her pneuma healing skill, if you like playing coop, you can use furina as the solo sustain healer since her pneuma heals active characters hence she heals all coop character. I've tested it and you can easily get max fanfare stacks by swapping ousia and pneuma in coop.

Yes and thats exactly why I love Furina so much. For around 2 years now I've been only exclusively doing coop domains and Furina is hands down the most fun and useful coop character. Shes enough to heal in azdaha and other boss domains

She's such a well designed character I love her. She doesn't feel like a powercreep but a way to introduce new team comps (such as Cyno quickbloom that need slow hydro app and long uptimes) and give value to healers and hypercarries (especially ones that are selfish and don't use NA's like Neuvi and so won't get much mileage with Xingxiu or Yelan). I know some ppl are disappointed in her kit but she has tough competition and I would much rather her need a healer rather than have her powercreep Kokomi out of existence by having strong self heals, or just become a stronger Mona. it's no fun pulling other characters that will get the "just play Nahida" effect and I think Furina avoids this pretty well.

that's technically how they always did things the past years tbh. like yelan was never a powercreep to xingqiu but an option that may work better or worse in certain teams. they simply don't release characters and give them braindead numbers and kit but instead play it safe and just buff them afterwards with new members or artifacts so they wouldn't screw up the meta. yae for example was, im sure, made to have below/average numbers since they wanted to buff electro overall when dendro came. if they gave yae huge af numbers then it would've totally skewed the meta towards her and she would've been broken af now with dendro. they also found a way that hypercarry raiden don't really benefit much from the dendro introduction. i think they learned so much ever since ganyu's release lol. I really like how they're technically phasing out bennett 😂of course he's still strong now but the game has been too reliant on bennett teams before and now we have several options because of dendro + furina + the death of snapshots lol

23:50 Barbara's skill heals all party members as well, just not passively. While auto-attacking or charged attacking, she heals everyone, just like Kokomi does during her burst. Still less healing than Kokomi, but it's useful to know that you can heal all party members with skill.

Great guide. I especially liked the best healer breakdown. Special mention should go to Dori, specifically at C6, where her skill gives her normal attacks Electro infusion AND team healing properties. Give her an Aggravate build, and she basically becomes an self-sustaining Electro Noelle. This means that C6 Dori can absolutely SLAP in a Quickbloom team with Furina while easily maintaining max Fanfare stacks as the party's sole healer. I can't test this myself, but it could be fun for those that can. I know that only a precious few people use Dori, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

As someone who' still relatively new to the game and doesn't have all game mechanics/math internalized, having an exhaustive guide like this is absolute gold. Furina not buffing bloom damage for example is something I was wondering about and if someone hadn't already answered that question in another guide's comments, this video would've cleared it up anyway. Also yeah, not having access to any of the previous event weapons like Festering Desire and Cinnebar Spindle among others is a huge miss for me (particularily the latter being Albedo's BiS), I really wish they'd either re-run the events in some fashion so newer players can get a hold of them, or otherwise offer an avenue to earn those (likewise rip Dehya's and Tighnari's signature 5 star weapons).

Furina exceeded my expectations, ive seen her leaks here and there but i was only focused on her buff but when i actually played her, i was amazed by her damage, her e surprisingly deals alot of damage and her healing (even tho i dont use it in abyss) was better than i expected 3k per heal, i was expecting only around 1-2k

Honestly imo, there are enough "quick guides" around, also on other social media, like tik tok or shorts, so that I always enjoy the detailed part of your videos, where you talk about alternatives and craft "funny" or "unexpected" teamcomps with the chracters. I know that doesn't work for everyone, but apart from watching the videos once, I often come back to timestamps to get the info I want, so for me those videos can as well be a lot longer. And which team I can put her in is only limited by how many characters I have. If you're comparing her to Kokomi, who only has AoE healing when on-field, ER is not a consideration. Barbara is barely a downgrade to Kokomi (while also being a lot more flexible since you can swap in and out of her unlike Kokomi).

That duration to cooldown ratio for her elemental skill, which you can't counteract with a sacrificial unlike Qiqi. Heals less per tick. Elemental skill ticks slowly. Elemental skill heals less per tick than JF. Those two combine to mean that the on-field character is less likely to be overhealed, so not as likely to trigger Furina's passive. And, of course, the wet factor, which causes issues against a variety of damage types (get frozen, get vaped, get electro-charged...). Of course, she does have a couple of plus sides. 15% hydro dmg bonus. Hydro aura moves with you. Fast attacks. That massive team heal from her burst.

@@Axterix13 Doesn't need to generate particles off field when you use her only on-field. You have only ~5 sec downtime with your skill with second constellation. Healing from skill alone doesn't matter. I can sustain whole team with Furina using only Barbara's skill + normal attacks on 12 Floor of the abyss and my Barbara is only lvl 60. And that pros you mentioned are useless if you use Barbara on-field. You heal more with normal attacks and stack Furina's burst faster than with her burst. That 15 % hydro dmg bonus applies only to Barbara so it is useless. If you don't have Kokomi and you want to build team utilising whole Furina's burst you can pretty much only rely on Barbara. Maybe Noelle and Sayu too but they are harder to build. Although Sayu can shred enemy's resistance so maybe she's better? Dunno. Gonna test that in upcoming weeks.

Yeah, you have to normal attack while her skill is up, but that's the same as Kokomi needing to attack while her burst is up. It has it's pros and cons so I would honestly consider them on the same level. I would definitely not say she's a worse option.

Kokomi hits a lot harder during her burst than Barbara does, though, between herself and her JF. Well, unless you build a charged attack Barbara anyway, which destroys your stamina very quickly. Kokomi also heals for more, both base and with her passive. And she has that 100% potential uptime on her JF, which has to two party health benefits. First, they can catch a heal as they are rotated in an out of the field. Second, it'll tend to overheal the on-field character, triggering Furina's passive. Barbara, meanwhile, has a long cool down on her E, and unlike Qiqi, can't use Sacrificial to counteract that. Kokomi also generates particles for Furina while off-field. Overall, I'd say Kokomi comes out ahead. But I do agree that Kokomi needing to be on-field for a period of time to heal the team is a definite drawback, when other healers exist (Mika, Sayu, Baizhu, and Jean) who can heal the entire team and then continue to heal on the field character for nice amounts, with minimal on-field time.

Sorry but I disagree with Qiqi and Kokomi's placement. . For off-field healing: Both provide high healing with 100% uptime, but what does Kokomi bring to the table more than Healing? Her main utility and the only reason of why she's meta is her hydro application, with Furina it's not even needed. Qiqi can use Favonius sword that battery the whole team, while Kokomi can't, Qiqi provides Cryo res for freeze teams and Kokomi provides hydro res which is nice, but most teams already have Yelan/Xingqiu for it. . For the on-field healing: Both heal a lot with every hit and can max out Clam set, but Sac Qiqi can apply cryo consistently for 100% of the time, has 100% on-field teamwide healing uptime, provides cryo res for freeze teams, and trigget superconduct that increases her dmg and Clam's dmg. Kokomi has slightly higher personal dmg, hydro res (assuming you don't have Yelan/Xingqiu), and some energy generation. . Qiqi is not a great unit overall and Kokomi is Meta, but Meta =/= always the best, let's be fair here, Kokomi is NOT better than Qiqi with Furina, both are great, please stop undervaluing Qiqi, Furina changed her A LOT.

Note. I don't know if someone already comment it, but at around 23:50 you said "Only her burst is AOE healing.." but when barbara's Skill is active she heals all partymembers with Basic attacks. It might be not much but mine does 1k healing each AA(3k each charged) and since the normal attack is good to spam the healing isnt really that bad.(and the healing could be higher with more investments! Just wanted to letting you guys know. :)

The only thing I regret is... to not get R5 Festering Desire. That weapon was released when I was very early to the game, I couldn't defeat Fatuis in Dragonspine at that time. Dragonspine was so difficult for early AR player then and I was still so scared of Fatuis and Ruin Guards/Hunters. I didn't manage to clear the quest and stuck at R1 Festering Desire (I tried to co-op with my friend but the event didn't allow that). It is still such a good weapon ;;w;; and gladly now Hoyo make it easier for early players to get the event-exclusive weapon to R5. It used to be so challenging to get these rewards. I'm thinking to just go for R5 Fleuve Cendre for Furina, it will be better than R1 Festering Desire right??

The real value of Furina is that she not only makes healers viable for...actually healing, so healers like Jean, Yaoyao, Baizhu, Kokomi, and yes, even Mika and Qiqi FINALLY have a reason to be used. It's actually ridiculous how META changing this is. I'm not joking. She also allows every unit to make use of Marachausse Hunter. Units like Ningguang, who don't have a dedicated set, can FINALLY have a great set to use. Ning, Zhongli, Qiqi with tenacity, and Furina would be a fantastic team, for example. She is basically Kazuha for non swirlable elements or reactionless teams. Mono geo, physical, anemo dps... she allows others to enjoy Kazuha like buffs without being a swirlable element. No, she won't slot into every team and just give value for free, but she is meta defining. It's undeniable, and you are actually capping if you disagree because you are wrong.

U say all these while not having Furina and not having actually tested this yourself She is mid at C0 being only quite good in a selected few teams, namely 3 where u actually see upgrades, but for the rest, she’s either sidegrade or downgrade, and when she’s sidegrade, I meant dmg wise is sidegrade, but the ease of use and overall experience with having no available slot in the team for having interruption resistance most of the time instantly make her downgrade For older players, we already have teams that do more than enough dmg, hence we seek positive QOL changes where characters allow us to play with no brain(eg. Not having the dodge), and Furina does opposite of that and restricting your team composition by a lot due to either her ER issue or tied to a healer issue. She almost always want to be in double hydro to ensure her burst is ready to use each rotation, she’s tied to a healer bcs this is only way u can stack to significant amount of dmg buff, and if your healer is not teamwide it will still be slow, current teamwide hydro healers are only Kokomi and Barbara, but Barbara has piss poor energy generation as well so not recommended, that leaves Kokomi, but Kokomi teamwide heal is only accessible when ur using Kokomi’s burst and on field so not recommended unless ur running Kokomi mono hydro, meaning if u use Furina, 3 slots of your team will be fixed for Furina + Hydro + Healer So tell me, in what world does this make Furina a flexible unit to you, for teams that by default has a healer and hydro in the team then yes Furina will be incredible and big upgrade, but what about the others that don’t

I mean it's not copium. She offers a buff that is for literally anyone that can make use of a dmg percent buff, not even just HP buff or ATK buff or EM buff...dmg percent, which is useful for literally every comp except for Bloom and Hyperbloom. Every other reaction type can benefit from dmg percent, even stuff like tazer, because those units still deal raw dmg on top of the reaction. She buffs phys, geo, raw anemo...everything, for EVERY unit. She does Yelan levels of dmg, if not more with the right setups, while doing this. Yelan and Kazuha's buffs buff LESS units and either ramp up like Furina's buff like Yelan's (that can't be boosted by cons like Furina's can) or only apply to swirlable elements like Kazuha and require niche setups for double swirl in vape / melt teams. It's more about them being equals. If you consider Kazuha and Yelan to be top tier, Furina is as well. Or else you admit that you are biased. I was heavily on the fence with Furina, but seeing what she can do now and what she enables: she's absolutely as good as them, and meta defining. She allows for healers like Mika, Jean, and Qiqi, largely forgotten...to be not only usable, but a GOOD alternative. She opens up new comps to relieve the old, tired ones. She's not god's gift and the absolute best unit, but she absolutely is meta, and a fantastic unit overall. To deny this is to be biased. I say this as someone who ALWAYS shit talks and doom posts units to an extent because I want value for my FOUR HUNDRED dollars that I spend in either farming/time or actual money to get units. I'm not a simp for HYV that eats garbage happily. I have high standards for units. She's fantastic in my eyes, and a fantastic pick up for low spenders and whales alike with anything in between. She has amazing weapon options and gearing options for those that want to build her in different ways.@@jakeastside
