@@ulysses4231 now that you said it most broken characters hails from Liyue. The only broken non-Liyue characters are Bennett, Ayaka, and Venti. And also every element have its broken Liyue representative. Hydro has Xingqiu, Electro has Beidou, Pyro has Xiangling, Anemo has Xiao (though Venti is more broken), Cryo has Ganyu, and Geo has the literal archon itself. Im not surprised if either Baizhu or Yaoyao will be broken as the Dendro representative.

Worse yet, people were slapping Crescent Pike on her and trying to build her as a physical carry, ignoring her absolutely insane burst uptime and damage. This was back in the heady days of not building out supports at all and just pumping all resources into one character and trying to make them a solo dolo main dps.

The thing is, most people already have a good artifact set on xiangling. The damage difference is not that high to consider spending weeks (or months) of resin for a new set. Remember EoSF does not buff guoba's damage at all like CW does (Xinqiu has pretty much the same problem with his E's). Better use those pieces on Raiden or Mona which is more game changing. But if you haven't built xiangling yet then yes, EoSF is the way to go.

Focus on artifacts with primary stat of HP for Bennet and a weapon with high attack and energy recharge. He is a healer and as attack buffer. Both of these happen with his Elemental Burst ability on the floor. Anybody stood inside gets healed plus attack buffed once healed. Use Xingqui with Xiangling once you get her. She's free on the 3rd floor of abyss. Sucrose is great to gather enemies. Rotation could go like this, Elemental Skill, collect particles until everyone has burst available. Hit Bennet's burst, stand inside it and use sucrose burst and catch as many enemies and you can inside, use xingquis burst and run into the crowd while staying inside Bennet's burst, switch to xiangling or whoever and use burst too, throw out elemental skill too. That'll trigger constant hydro and pyro reactions (vaporize), and attack with your highest attack character. Probably Xingqui

Depending on what AR you are right now, you should focus first on maxing talents in lower AR level. Then slowly stack up on artifacts once you reach ar49. This way you could save a lot of time and resin.

When discussing Zhongli, people usually say that mihoyo buffed him so much because he represents China (which is a very dumb theory imo, but whatever) but oh no, by the looks of it, Xiangling is the character who represents China according to mihoyo, she gets an indirect buff every patch.

I think the reasoning behind that is because vocal CN players/whales were outraged that Zhongli was so weak pre-buff. There was some actual IRL threats to mihoyo iirc. I don’ think they buffed him because he represents China, but moreso as a response to the angry, nationalistic CN fans who tried to make it seem like mihoyo was anti-China because they made the Liyue Archon weak. I think it was more trouble than it was worth which is why the buffed him. Obviously you still have some “bad” Liyue characters like Qiqi or Xinyan, but the fact that he was the Archon made Zhongli different I guess.

He was more detrimental to your team than he helped and the fact that he was the damn Geo Archon only rubbed salt on the wound. MHY was probably testing the water with how weak they can make a character without affecting their sales, and a super hyped up, popular character like Zhongli was the perfect candidate.

Great video! Just a minor correction: at 9:06 the 15% vaporize dmg bonus from CW is not additive with the pyro damage bonus, it’s actually additive to the reaction multiplier in the damage formula (EM).

@@exelr8ight369hey there. I'd suggest using xiangling as your main dps with dragons bane and use Xingquis rain swords to vaporize your xianglings pyronado. Sucrose is also really good with thrilling tales to buff attack. If you get bennett you could run national team (xiangling, bennett, xingqui and sucrose/chongyun). @@exelr8ight369Well, i wouldn't recommend keaya for New players but since you leveled him, you can do physical with kaeya, kujou sara (superconduc+ atack buff), diona (healer + cryo ressonance) and xinyan (physical buff, maybe you can replace her latter, she is kinda disappointing in late game). And National team as someone sugested. Cryo keaya is ok, but not effective on Bosses since they can't freeze and the Wolf of North (boreas /Andrius) is imune to Ice damege (Wind too).

I wanted to mention her pairing with Baal seems underrated in this video (although Benette Xinqiu is definitely probably the best support for her) 1. The energy recharge is insane, which means XiangLing's Super gets charged every "rotation" 2. Baal's E means electro with every Guoba and Pyronado attack 3. I still recommend the "Catch" which means you won't have to swap weapon every time you place XL in a team without Baal, but if you think her recharge is enough, you can swap it out to other weapons which buffs crit rate. I started a month ago and I've been buffing XL and Baal only and the results are insane. Personally, Yoyimia (as main DPS) + XiangLing (who E's and Q's and disappears) + Baal + any utility (claymore against shield, Xingqiu against pyro, Qiqi if you need heal etc) worked really well for me.

I heard that the combo with sayu and xiangling where you roll around the mobs accelerating the burst hits could be more powerful than vaporizing every hit (something like 2.5x times more damage as opposed to the 2x from vaporize). But since I haven't seen any more people testing this I assume it isn't as easy to pull or powerful as a childe/xingqiu combo. Btw thanks for your guide!

Ever since I got the Catch R5 I can now do 60,000 damage vapes in my Childe, Xiangling, Bennett, Sucrose team. She is so strong that she is right up there with the strongest pyro carries in the game. This is mostly because of her incredibly strong synergies. A free weapon that competes with these very expensive weapons is incredible. Interestingly if you use Kazuha then if you already have an R5 Dragon's Bane then the performance is about the same. If you use Sucrose instead then the Catch R5 is a decent upgrade.

@@exelr8ight369 Yea, freeze comp is a good idea, you could also do the national team (though you don’t have bennett) you have really good characters, so just pick a few that have synergies together and play them! For weapons: Thrilling tales - Sucrose or any support/buffer, Stringless - Sara, The catch or Dragon’s Bane - Xiangling, Crescent pike - N/A, Mappa Mare - Sucrose, Rust - N/A (rust is mainly for phys bows like yoimiya or tartaglia), Fav bow - Diona, Rainslasher - Idk, Prototype - Xinyan or Chongyun Team comp ideas (not an expert, so just ideas): National with Xinyan: Xiangling, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Xinyan Freeze comp: Chongyun, Xingqiu, Diona, +other Kaeya dps team? Maybe with Chongyun? I really recommend using Diona, her shield and healing really help. Other than that, just pick a character that you like and build around them, or just play with characters you like. You can also keep pulling until you have a 5 star dps, and build around them. Great guide. I've been a huge fan of Xiangling for a while. I recently made the switch from Deathmatch to The Catch. I was pleasantly surprised to see that even though my Crit stats were lower, I was actually doing more damage.

This is going to be a long post, a somewhat constructive criticism one. I'm a begginer at this game and it's super fun. I only have one problem with this guide, and ALL the geshin impact guides on the internet for that matter. Most of them are not beginner friendly. I'm going to give you 2 perfect examples right now. I kept hearing about Xianling being the best free to play character. I was able to test her in the last character event and I made it my sole mission to obtain her as soon as possible. However, by "free", I assume you mean that you don't need to wish for her. For starters, this alone requires you to be rank 20 and you need to enter the Spiral Abyss and complete floor 3. Most guides lack this info and just say, " Complete floor 3 in sprial abyss." So you can imagine the life fading out of my eyes when I learned that I had to be at rank 20. I spent about a full week getting enough AR ranks to unlock this event, and finally she was mine. When discussing her weapon, the guide says to use "the catch" from the fishing event because you get it free and it's a really good weapon. I'm afraid it's not that simple. Most guides just say to complete the "Exploding Population" quest to unlock fishing. Unfortunitly, this means you need to obtain the Serenitea Pot, which means you need to reach Adventure Rank 28 and complete the Archon Quest Chapter I Act III: A New Star Approaches. But wait, there's more. You can't pass rank 25 until you do the quest in ruins of Ascension Domain to unlock the ascension. After all this is done, you can finally do the fishing event. And based on all this, I'm pretty sure it's not as simple matter of just "catching the fish and trading them in to sombody." This doesn't include all the things you are going to have to do to level her up her talent, constellations, and obtain the artifacts. It's my fault for living under a rock and not playing this popular waifu infested game until now. But I still think that these guides don't do a good job at helping beginners. I understand that can make the video a lot longer than it needs to be, but at least the guides need to mention all the steps required. That way the player can look up the guides needed to perform all the steps needed. Edit: Returning about a month after initially watching this video. And yes, I can definitely verify that building this xianling is not as simple as the video implies it to be. So this video is definitely aimed towards people who’ve been playing the game from the very beginning and does very little if any to help beginners, Which As I’ve said before is the flaw of a just about every guide on this game. Do you guys have any idea of the crap you need to go through in order to obtain the catch? It’s pretty annoying and you still need to refind it after that. And don’t even get me started on the artifact set. Now that I am a lot more familiar with this game than I was when I initially watched this video, I understand everything he’s talking about and I can follow the guide fully. But for people are just coming in to the game, this isnt going to help them at all unfortunately. It’s a great guide, just not beginner friendly.

I definitely agree. I remember being in tears trying to clear a lot of the content in the game. The most helpful advice I could give you is let other players enter your world and help you with the open world. Ask them for help about unlocking the Dragonspine domain as soon as possible and farm the shit out of it for Kaeya. While you're at it, give the hydro artifacts to Barbara (Xingqiu if you have him). Barbara is a healer, but having a hybrid build of a healer+dmg dealer will give you more value as lower AR since a lot of healers already do enough healing. Make Kaeya+Barbara the core of your team until you get xiangling and arrive in inazuma for the emblem set. Freeze teams are more helpful for beginners compared to other teams since it gives the enemies less chance of landing attacks therefore keeping your team alive. Plus Kaeya has a passive of healing himself when he does damage with his skill so you won't die as much. At this point, you probably only still have 3 or 4 star artifacts on your characters. If they're already good pieces, I don't recommend grinding for artifacts again unless you're above AR45 or you have a guarantee to get 5 star pieces. Use your resin for talent books/acsension mats and world bosses.

Lol. when ur a beginner, u don't need to be watching guides and tutorials on end game content bcoz u literally don't need it and don't even have access to it . Amber can literally kill anything while exploring. U don't even need artifacts for doing missions and daily quest. These guides are only useful when ur around AR 45 and above and want to do floor 11 and 12 of abyss, which by that point u should already understand everything he's talking about. U can't except him to baby talk everyone whose AR 45 n above just bcoz someone who's AR 10 might be watching even though it's too early for them to be doing that content. There are millions of early game guides from 2020 a new player could be watching, not endgame guides

One of the first things they are told is to get Xianling and use "The Catch". If you type in "Xianling" on KZbin, this is literally the FIRST video that pops up..and it has over 1 million views. So naturally everybody will watch this one first. After watching the guide and playing the game, they'll go crazy one they realize everything they need to do in order to build her. Now I can fully confirm that NON of this is needed for story content. And by the time you do all that, yeah, you'll be familiar with the game. but still. My point is that this is one of the first videos people will look at for Xianling and it's not amied for them.

@@Darkkefka I Mean it's not a problem nor is it his fault it's the first video , but what is your solution, in every guide of every character he should make a to do list on which story missions u need to unlock their boss, if they use the catch, a guide on how to get the catch, a guide on where to find every single resource they need to level up and a farming route. Is ur solution making an 1 long guide for every character even though there are separate videos for each of those things you need to know when u need them on KZbin. U can literally just search"how to unlock Xiangling "or" how to get the catch". If you are a beginner u literally cannot level up any Inazuma character until u reach AR 30 minimum and by the time u unlock all the inazuma bosses, ur probably already AR 45 and above and you've already started to understand all the games mechanics. Sumeru is gonna be worse, u most likely won't be able to level up Sumeru characters until AR40 so what's the point of making guides for beginners if they cant access that content and by the time they can access that content, they already understand the game. And he makes content for endgame players who want to beat the abyss. An AR 10 player doesn't need that information

Guoba Impact is the real way to play. Something silly you can do if you wanna just have some fun in the open world. Guoba will trigger Raiden's E. If you drop any sort of taunt, and then drop Guoba on it with Baal E active, you get a handsfree overload AOE Guoba flamethrower. Silly stuff, but I love doing it on small groups of hilichurls or Treasure Hoarders while exploring. I've really liked the Kitain Spear on Xiangling since I like to use her on reaction teams. It lets me run more dmg on her thanks to it giving fixed energy back, and focus on dmg artifacts. The Catch is sitting on Baal, and honestly I really enjoy running them two together. Great guide.

I just finished Abyss 12 with 9 stars using a Xiangling-Xingqiu-Baal-Bennett and an Ayaka-Venti-Mona-Diona team. My Xiangling has a 60-130 ratio with 153 ER and my Baal only has two artifacts equipped. I don't know if I should cry or laugh because my 3 months-farmed Diluc couldn't even clear the first floor with 3 stars 😭

We almost have the same teams National and Morgana but mine is Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Bennett And Ganyu, Mona, Venti, Diona I raised my Klee since i got her but now she got replaced by Xiangling 😭

Your first team is almost same as mine. Xianling, Xingqiu, Kaeya and Bennett. So good and fun to play. The second one is the VISA team xd Kazuha, Zhongli, Ganyu and Klee. No one survive after a full rotation.

10:30 Just to clarify, "1 to 2" mentioned around in build discussions does not specifically stand for 1 Crit Rate to 2 parts Crit DMG as mentioned, as the damage optimization of this balance works both ways. The mentioned allocation is just the more commonly achievable for common characters.

Keep wishing for that C4, it's so good, it's like 25% damage increase compared to just C3. For comparison, C2 raiden is roughly 40% damage increase.

You can use Noelle's barrier to negate the damage from grass and to stop interruption from enemies. Works really well for me.

I never explored out side of that except with raiden which send her flying and this comment is a year ago so I don't have any healers or shielders that time. The beginning banner did not give me a noelle but a ningguan. She was my healer at the time XD

Fun (maybe) fact that I heard (correct me if I’m wrong): Xiangling’s bis weapon is based on which buffer you’re using with her. If you’re using Sucrose, staff of homa is her bis, if you’re using Zhongli, engulfing lightning is her bis, and if you’re using Kazuha, who is her best buffer, then the catch is actually her bis. So in Xiangling’s ideal team (Childe/XL/Kazuha/Bennett) the catch is actually her best weapon!
