What I noticed about Wriothesley is that his jump height tends to be a lot lower than other characters. This is actually a very interesting part of his lore, as Wriothesley runs a hidden bakery within the Fortress of Meropide as indicated by his caked up whoopie cushions. (I am the chair in his office)

An interesting detail I found about Wriothehsly's healing skill is that you can also heal from hitting certain solid or destructible objects like boxes and the pyro torches from puzzles. A neat way to refill some heath if no enemies are close by.

Idk if this is a bug or a feature really. You can even get energy the same way if you have his E active. I noticed it while punching the boxing dummies in the Fortress of Meropide.

His enhanced CA is also guaranteed to give one particle.

Charge attack buff stays with him once he gets it, even if you heal him back up to above 60%. You just have to hit 60% once and he gets it permanently until you use it. He dosen't lose the gracious rebuke buff if he hits under 60% and gets healed over 60% from another source after. Edit: Buff dosent even go away even if you swap out of him to someone else.

i think my wriothesley is bugged. for some reason when i attack enemies, he starts twerking on them and kills them instantly with the power of his two magnificent cheeks. this makes spiral abyss easier to 36 star which is obviously bad. hope they fix this bug soon

You don’t have to hover between 50-60%HP to gain the Gracious Rebuke stack. Just dropping below 60% will give you the stack and allow for an empowered CA even if wrio is healed over 60% afterwards

The animation dash cancel for Wriosthesly is just to dash cancel n4. It's the one that you can dash cancel and still get n5 out. You can also dash cancel it by using his skill

For his normal attack dash cancel, you need to at least enter a single frame into his next attack animation, then dash and you will skip the NA that you just cancelled (eg. if you dash after 1 frame of his 4th NA animation, you will skip the 4th NA string and continue to his 5th). If you dash at the end of a string, it won't let you continue the NA string and just resets. Hope it helps

I think Lost prayer will be really good for a solo run since you can get the full 4 stacks of elemental damage buff (32 percent at R1 and 64 at R5). I was able to solo the 2nd half of abyss 12 with neuvillette today and I'm planning to do an abyss 12 run with solo wrio in 1st half and solo neuvi in 2nd half (Once I get wriothesley). In a melt team with kazuha, bennett and xiangling i would only be able to get a maximum of 2 useful stacks on lost prayer tho.

I find that when I run Barbara with Wriothesley, he still gets his buff after doing a certain amount of damage that would bring him below 60%hp despite being at full hp. You see it when you’re at full hp and still have the aura that demonstrates the buff is active.

Theres only 2 things Neuvilette gets from C1 - interruption resistance - (damage) always starts with 1 draconic stack But theres 3 for Wriothesley - no more below 60% healing restriction - (damage) extra 200% for charge attack - skill duration extended Hmmm..Hoyoverse..you might need to transfer that healing restriction into his passive instead🤔..I mean, Neuvilette can heal anytime so why not Wriothesley.. Some people might say "Oh they made him mid but who cares Archon is coming".. But its actually "Archon is coming?..okay lets make you pull until C1 for Wriothesley before that" 🤣

The reason the combo breaks is due to wriothesley starting his walking animation which will reset your combo no matter what so don't hold a direction until you want to dash. As an example, you can start your NA combo, dash to dodge or reposition then use his skill to dash back in and continue the combo.

I saved up enough to get him C-1 on my own as well as be able to pre-farm a lot of his mats. With some birthday gift money I bought some wishes and happened to get his weapon as well. Now I'm conflicted in saving wishes for a re-run banner, or use them on Xiao or Cyno. I WANT pull out a credit card and get ALL the wishes and use them to get him co C-6, but alas, I would probably hate myself and quit the game as I have with every other game that I spend that much money on in a short amount of time. I digress, I think you did a decent job showing you don't NEED him at C-0. I'm an advocate for that as well, and please keep that up as needed. This is why I dislike meta influencers. I get it, metas will hapen but I always say never take them a 'the way'.

Spent 500 pulls for him bc Hoyo decided that I should get every thing at 70 pity. Got 2 of Venti’s weapon both at 69, got his sign at 66, got him at 81, before losing the 50/50 to Diluc at 78. And finally getting his C1 around 74 pity. Sometime I just wish whoever made this game to get diarrhea for the next 7 years. So, I did what any Rizzley wanters do after getting his C1. Which is to solo every boss that aren’t immune to Cryo damage. So, after beating Raiden many times, I have to say Rizzley is canonically a professional wifebeater. Nice.

I haven't seen any guide mention Dodoco Tales for Wriothesley. I mean at R5 you get 32% CA just from doing NAs and you get 16% ATK from doing CAs. Seems really synergistic with his playstyle.

I do feel flowing purity R5 is better than ballad cuz it has ark% sub stats, but the bond of life thing is annoying, u need high heal healer to combat that other wise u just get the 16% dmg bonus

For highest/consistent damage: R5 FP > R5 BoB > R5 Widsith (Flowing Purity needs a healer, minimum 25k max HP, and it's better with C1) For ease of use: R5 BoB (make sure energy recharge is 120-140) :)

I have an unusual suggestion for those who it may apply to: c6 Diona and kazuha Her burst grants 200 EM which Kazuha can snapshot onto his burst, and essentially gain a budget version of his c2, while swirling cryo to instantly boost Wriothesley's cryo dmg bonus to c2 kazuha levels

Kazuha can't snapshot EM for swirls. EM can only be snapshot for melt/vape. So when you leave the field and his burst ticks, his buff gets refreshed without the 200 EM buff
