I missed the hype of live events man chapter 1 and 2 nailed them (for the most part, chapter 2 was inconsistent but also higher in quality) so yeah these really bring me back to the old live events which involve solely the map rather than leaving us guessing and teleporting us to other dimensions and shit

I might be biased since I was an early player but the first few events starting from the meteor sightings were so amazing. I have never seen live events done this well in a game before and it was magical. I stopped playing when they started to introduce a bunch of collaboration content, honestly I wish they kept fortnite as fortnite, and not a melting pot of different real life series and people.

Every event before fracture were so good I miss the story with the seven and the io it sucks they want to focus on creative and making other game modes like Lego Fortnite or rocket racing but honestly one of the reasons I love Fortnite was cause the story was so good I wish Donald mustard still worked at epic games and give us good story telling like before the story sucks right now

I exactly downloaded it at operation sky faire event. I miss the story and that random doctor girl who got totally removed from the storyline. I miss me and my dad hyping for the next update and story. I think it kinda ended after chapter 2 (I don’t really know those seasons, but yk the one with the zeppelins and the grey painted mech) we didn’t really play Fortnite after that and we started playing it again, and it’s still fun at gameplay, but the updates, trailers and the story isn’t the same anymore. I bought my first battle pass at chapter 2 season 18, And I got origin skin.

Dawg this shit not only brings me back to better times, but makes me so sad that FN has gone in the direction it has. I understand, that the “new modes,” shorter Chapters and a MUCH larger focus on the “creative” side to FN is for the longevity of the game but they sacrificed the “mythical” experience of the game. They sacrificed the storyline that had been built for YEARS, they sacrificed the build ups and live events that made each season extremely unique AND they “sacrificed” the creative mind behind it all. This game USED to have so much excitement behind it and now it’s……stale. I feel bad for newer players cause the game is a FRAGMENT of what it used to be. They will never get to experience the Ch 1-2 type live events.
