Hitscan doesn't mean instant hit. You can program a delay in the hit on the casted line. Heavy's miniguns are actually hitscan weapons, they're not projectile.

Just because you die a lot doesn't mean the class gets hard to play...the heavy is the easiest class to play in TF2. The one next to him is pyro.

Tldr You're wrong and you should feel ashamed of yourself heavy by comparison is the easiest class to play. Heavy : walk, shoot, and occasionally drop sandwiches, oh yeah he's slow, crowd control Medic : Maintain teams health, be number 1 enemies target, all the while building uber, popping uber at the right time, etc Scout : walk, shoot, and occasionally do some debuff, whilst only having 125 hp, and the only way of surviving is using double jumps to your advantage as it is mostly effective against projectile weapon and it does nothing against hit scan weapons. Sniper : walk, shoot, and sometimes covers enemy in jarate, whilst aiming for people that are moving ten million km/h , with 125 hp, relying heavily on your team to keep the enemy from getting near you as most class have a huge advantage when they find you. Engineer : Maintain four buildings at once (three if you count the tele exit and entrance as one entity, knowing building placement/adapting on maps to benefit your team the most, keeping your buildings alive against spam and blind spots, fending off against ubered opponents (who most likely will destroy your building), whilst looking around for spies that can easily kill an unaware engy, and basically render the engineer's building useless as it is subjected to a huge number of spam, Spy : A class relying heavily on strategy and less on skills where any class but the sniper and engy would basically kill him on sight, where anyone who played the game would easily recognize a spy using a disguise rendering it effective only against sentries, and when noticed would instantly alert the entire team where the element of surprise would be lost (his largest advantage), etc Pyro : crowd control, fire disrupts your opponents aim, clearing stickies, reflecting projectile based weapons, extinguishing burning players, the most effective class at killing spies, relies on close quarter combat, useless against a sniper from a far unless using non-stock secondary weapon,etc Soldier and Demo : oh boy, this ones a biggy. I believe if you watch muselks videos you would know how big their roles can be. So I wont bother explaining this to you

Iqbal Indaryono If they don't understand, I'll explain it for them soldier/demo: walk, shoot, they rely mostly on skill than strategy, for if you can get a direct hit almost all the time, you can wreck the entire team, useless against heavy-medic pairs, and most useful against everyone else if they don't know how to dodge that well or airblast as pyro. You can either go with your team, aiding them in the battle, or go ahead, and clear most of the way so they can advance. These classes are most powerful in high numbers.

Can't teleport with intel, can't take intel into spawn areas (or through the team-restricted gates on sd_Doomsday), if you try it will just drop to the floor, can't trigger invulnerability Übercharge as Medic or receive invuln Übercharged while carrying intel, can't use BONK, can't disguise or go invisible as Spy while carrying intel, can't pick up intel while having Rocket Junker/Sticky Jumper equipped. Same goes for the Jack in PASS Time (you can't even use a Demoknight shield charge with the Jack). Just as you can't cap points or push payload while Übercharged. Muselk really should have applied some logic there... :-/ for once Valve was smarter. If it worked Delfy would have exploited it ages ago.
