Gosh it's amazing I've been running a very similar triple fighter team in UL, except Shadow Snorlax with the same Superpower instead of Chesnaught! I've been leading with my XL P-Wrath as well but with Bubble + I. Punch/D. Punch. This teams performs similarly well against Walrein and the meta built around it! Great battles as always Z!

A very impressive compilation, and unconventional indeed. I thought for sure the team would struggle badly against the bulk of Giratina, but held with surprising flex, especially with the Smack Down Chesnaught which hardly anybody expects, but everybody should respect. Oh how I can't wait until its respective CD (hopefully this year) when it learns Frenzy Plant; that thing is going to be an absolute monster on the battlefield.

Very nice! This is my first PvP season, mainly due to wanting the pose at rank 20. Currently rank 16, slowly getting there. I'm running the trevenant, Talonflame, walrein. Your line up seems to be better balanced against the supposed meta pokemon.

Personally I would put walrein in the lead and have talon on safe and Trev as closer trev covers the others 2 weaknesses, water and electric

I'm also an Escavilier main, but I have Acid Spray with Drill Run. The reason being that it builds power really quickly, and it's excellent bait for Shields, due to reducing Defense sharply regardless of if they block it or not. Plus, it lulls them into a surprise Drill Run at times.

With how big of an audience you have, I always wish in your videos you explained a little more about the game mechanics because I'm sure you know them. At 13:06 you explain the decision to go into Chesnaught vs Talonflame while it is locked into the incinerate move. Your audience would benefit from the little more technical explanation I think. Incinerate is a 5 turn fast move and smack down is a 3 turn fast move. You can safely throw these moves inside of the fast move turn window of your opponent to snipe them down. Instead you mention this in a casual, matter of fact way. Just a suggestion. I'm not saying you should break down all of the battles and movements like other content creators, but I think you have an opportunity here.

Typhlosion is a very predictable pokemon with incinerate because it will overcap on energy if it throws more than 4 incinerates, it is one of the easiest catches you can make.

I enhoy these videos alot man. Great content and allt of great tips. I didnt wanna blow all my dust on a poli, so ai used Walrein instead. Worked like a charm. I think i’m at 16-4 or something today. Also i only have drillrun on the escavalier. Ill nnever remeber who can handle what in this game perfectly, but i’m usually finding out what the ones i use can tank or not. I literally haven’t played a single talon flame today. BUNCH of altereds though. I’ve been rocking escavalier, electrivir, and blaziken and been absolutely ripping it up. Has some weaknesses, but I absolutely win far more than I’ve lost.

I needed to save on dust, which is why I used my Lucky Pokemon. It's ideal to go for high ranked PvP IVs, but sometimes you don't have them or the resources for them. Got to make due with what you have!
