It's awesome how you can fit in so many modes in a ZZ Top style track. That major-minor combo for instance lets us drop a fair deal of dorian and mixolydian when called for to very safely return to minor pentatonic licks before things get strange haha. Nicely done

@@nordicwolftracks I mean you nailed the gibbons sound.... What amp settings are you using? Im learning the songs of zz tops earlier albums, but I can't quite get the sound zz top's famous for.

Could I use this music in a video I'm making? I'd rather have permission than just take it!

ALL good but a backing track is not us watching you play lead . you ruin all notion of that by playing out in front of the track . After would be fine when we are not forced to listen to you limit creativity by telling us how your idea of the lead should sound . I bet you tell the end of books also am I right? thanks

Some do play first, some at the end and some don't even showcase their soloing. This guy, on his own video and channel, decided to present the idea first, probably aiming to beginners so they know where to hold on. Or maybe just because he wants to with no other reason. It's his channel, he might as well be burping all along the track if he wanted. If it's not your cup of tea you don't need to be rude before you slam the door on your way out, there are tons of zz top inspired backing tracks out there that won't "limit your creativity".

put your solo at the end..i dont want to watch you play...i hate when people put their solo first
