IMPORTANT FACT: In the course of shooting the scene where Vera [Taylor Hickson] pounds on the glass door at the end of the movie, the director [Pascal Laugier], consistently told her to pound harder on the glass with her fists. While filming another take the glass shattered, causing her head and upper body to fall through the door and shards of glass. As a result of the incident she was badly cut the left side of her face and was rushed to the hospital, where she received about 70 stitches.

This movie is fabulous and heartbreaking. It doesn't give you any kind of resolve at the end, which ,yes, you could imagine a happy ending, but the reality is more likely this is another hallucination. The director is very Agatha Christie in that there are clues to what is actually going on throughout. The darkest part about this movie is due to a failed stunt, resulting in the actress getting a possibly career ending scar on her face. The same place as the scar on the movie poster.

This reminds me of the short story wake up it’s easy to look up. Just search wake up creepypasta but here it is typed out (the story is suppose to be written on looking choppy and messy like notes left out. In the story the word wake up get bigger and darker as you read so it like the note it telling you the reader to WAKE UP! Wake Up : It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a world of fantasy from which they could not wake up. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren’t being tortured. The mind of the victim would often try to Wake Up the victim by leaving hints around the victim’s world to help them realize they were asleep. Sometimes, even after the victim knew what was going on, they would still refuse to PLEASE WAKE UP. Awesome vid now I don’t need to watch that movie lolz!

I remember really liking the movie a lot and when it came out on dvd a few months later(which was either March or April, forgot which month) I then bought it and watched it a bunch of times. I remember you saying you like it because of how all the girls kept dissing each other and I think that was one of the entertaining parts of the movie to me. I remember a funny scene with the house mother where she is shocked the girl doesn't know what this one thing is, and when she was gone the house mother started talking shit about her, it was similar to "fucken privilage rich girl" or something similar to that (it's been a really long time since I last watched the movie so I don't know the specific quote but I use to watch my dvd of it a lot in 2007).
