you can see how LD started to slow down from 2014 onwards as his knee's just couldn't hack it anymore. His movement speed to the front court especially slow. Amazing how he was still such a force (up until 2017-18) after slowing down so much, just goes to show how high a level the rest of his game was. I feel sad that there are so many youtube videos of him from 2016 onwards that get compared to people like Axelsen/Momota - when in reality, they just aren't in his league.

people nowadays have no idea how athletic were these 2 during their younger days(19-24yo), people started seeing more of their match after their prime due to internet just started taking off, despite LD slowing down, he is still one of the top players, shows how much control he can have on the court, just magnificent. Now I start to understand why: he can comfortably and accurately return so many winners by stretching his legs far apart while maintaining in balance.
