As a Chinese, I come here to check what will be the translation of those move, and as expected, it is really hard to keep all the meaning in English. Those move by the old folk are actual move set/End game positioning from Chinese Chess: 1. Three Pawn Power/ 三仙煉丹: An end game position where the attacker side have only 3 Pawns while all defensive pieces are still up 2. Cannon Barrage/炮碾丹砂: Using Rook and Cannon to perform a continue attack to take away pieces, aka Windmill attack in Chess 3. Ragging Horses/雙馬飲泉: An end game technique by using 2 horses(knight) to perform a checkmate 4. Hobble the horse/絆馬腳(but the Chinese VA said it in 絆腳馬 aka horse being hobble): A way to stop horse to move as different from Knight, if any pieces stand in front of horse, it can not move passing it 5. Two Pawns come knocking/雙鬼拍門(Imps knocking on the door): An end game technique by using 2 pawns, aka the lowest point unit on the board("imps") to hold the position of the king and perform checkmate 6. Pawns siege the palace/ 三進兵: An End Game position where moving and attacking with pawns continuously 7. Moonlight Chase/月下追信: Name base on a historical story in Han Dynasty, 蕭何月下追韓信, on Chess board, it is an End game puzzle that you need to sacrifice most of your pieces to checkmate 8. Horse and cannon/馬後炮: A common checkmate move by placing Cannon behind the horse so that the king cannot move. But in daily conversation, 馬後炮 usually refer to "You don't say" situation edit: remind by comment below, it is also represent hindsight bias

It's a bit harder to translate to English, but the moves used by the granpa/grannies to beat up the gangs are actual move names for Chinese chess. For example, "Raging Horses" is a move where you utilize both of your horses (aka Knights in Chess) to combo and checkmate the enemy. Really fitting here lol

I like Qungyi as a character for sure, she very well captures the 'old geezer from anther time' vibe, and since she is a robot right now I'm speculating she is actually a much older sentient robotic lifeform who has had to put herself into a new body for one reason or the other, she seems to specifically dislike or find dismay with people looking at her as a kid so it doesn't feel like it's something she has always delt with. Will be really cool to get to know her more with the upcoming chapter 3 epilog and side stories.

Check ZZZ groups, people are complaining about the twin ballerinas and that white monster that keep warping away to attack. Stun is the answer for those agile enemies. In Genshin fleeing bosses aren't as agile, that's why they don't need long time stuns as the elemental reactions would do the job by themselves.

This was fantastic! Qingyi was amazing! The video itself felt a little... too fast? It was was to follow, which hey I get it it's nappy and fast, but the sub titles struggled to keep up. It was hard to follow even when the old people came on, I had to slow down the video just to see what was happening. The sounds and music were all over the place too. I feel all the snappy and fast techniques need to be reeled back a bit, much easier to digest. Other wise I am looking forward to seeing and playing qingyi someday!
