Born in the 80's. I used to watch this all the time. Along with many other great kids programs like Woof!, The Queens Nose, Round the Twist, Finders Keepers, Games Master etc. I remember arguing with my sister over which hand was the coolest. It's been so long now I can't even remember which hand was my favourite back then lol. Great memories.

Fun Fact! Someone under the name of ‘misspickled’ here on KZbin was actually part of the ‘Tricky Dicky - Mission Impossible’ ‘Walking On Stilts Challenge from back then in 1993! The Handymen music really reminds me of the early Benny Hill sketches where he'd do a silent comedy sketch - and the Tricky Dicky music just screams "Sega Mega Drive" to me!

Same, I will always believe it was a clown's leg where the theme is a clown/circus routine (i.e: Magic (before Minnie), juggling, diabolos yo-yo, slapstick (although Cuthbert Lilly, Tricky Dicky and Daisy Dare also do it), balloons (although The Handymen have used balloons and magic also), jokes, unicycling, Mime, Physical theatre, etc).

I liked him better then daisy dare. She was annoying. Also he was actually axed due to test audiences feedback. They felt his character had run its course

@@sexydudeuk2172 No he was dropped because of complaints from parents (and other guardians) saying he scared their children now I hardly remember him but watching him as an adult, I can see why he would have frightened young children, he is terrifying and looks a bit like a peaky blinder.

@@eleanorhogan8643 no he wasn't that was a rumour. It says online that he was dropped because of test audiences feedback. They believed he was too sinister for a light hearted childrens show. I was a kid when he appeared on tv and i remember him very well and he never scared me nor my sisters. As mentioned I preferred him to the annoying brat daisy dare

@doingthebooks we already know there are 10 episodes. And wikipedia is fan edited, there is not a scrap of proof for any of those tricky dicky sketches (ep7-10) existing. It's just people making stuff up.
