A lot of people say that his mask with the thorns is from the devil, but the, but it's not, Joey said in an interview with terrorizer magazine that the mask itself represented how he was hurt inside, the crown didn't even make much difference, he said it was "tired of being the cutie in the band", but when he saw that the crown and branches were scaring people, he stopped wearing it. (Sorry the wrong English, I don't speak English)

Mick's is my favourite mask. At each rendition he keeps it looking 98% the same every time. :) He found THE look straight away. It works. The only difference is, he manages to find a new way to make it more intimidating each album. Little tweaks is all he does/needs.

I've only gotten into Slipknot as of recently, but here are my favorite mask iterations for each of the members (both past and present) from what I'm seeing. Sid: All Hope Is Gone, We Are Not Your Kind (both give off creepy and eery vibes) Joey: All Hope Is Gone (gives me this "God-forsaken" feel to the mask) Paul: The Subliminal Verses Chris: IOWA Jim: The Gray Chapter (this iteration, in my opinion, stands out more than his "We Are Not Your Kind" adaptation) Craig: The Subliminal Verses Shawn: The Subliminal Verses (both masks give off sadistic and very diabolic vibes). Mick: The Subliminal Versus (this mask looks pretty identical from this album to present day, so I really couldn't tell. This one gives me "Grim Reaper" vibes, and it has a fond place in my heart given that it resembles the mask that Death has in "Darksiders 2") Corey: The Gray Chapter (I feel like it highlights the ugliness we all carry in ourselves, and the fact that the top part comes off makes the mask stand out even more Jay: We Are Not Your Kind (from what I know, he's only got 2 iterations so far. But this version looks the best for me). Alessandro: We Are Not Your Kind (just like Jay, his 2nd iteration is a massive upgrade to the original design that he had). I didn't bother to include Tortilla Man because he only has one iteration, as far as I can see. Although, I'm looking forward to future mask adaptations.
