Engineer am not , therefore understanding the purpose of breaking btn the line supplying the main via the star auxiliary since u have connected it via the NC making no difference

This method is only aplicable if both phases coils are same power (main and auxilary coil). If they are different power you could have a problem. And if auxiliry coil has centifugal switch like some motors have, than it will not work. I have such situation and I didn't found easy solution except to use Cam 1-2-0, four pole switch

Hello, I am watching from 🇰🇪 Kindly help me with a wiring diagram of a bar bending machine. The machine has 3 limit switches, 3 contactors, and one start button switch, which is being switched by foot by stepping on it.

The only problem is that you will be loading the transformer with only one phase being used at each particular time.secondly you will need a bigger size cable to supply the system with because you are not balancing the phases
