Dr prescribed me cipro for healing my wound .Is it good enough to take it ??? Please answer 🙏
@NurseRyan8 күн бұрын
Ciprofloxacin may help to treat (or prevent) the infection if the infection is susceptible to Cipro. It you have any questions about the treatment of your wound, I would definitely recommend speaking to your doctor for the best information for your case, as these videos are meant only for educational purposes!

Will this medicine help with swelling ?
@NurseRyan13 күн бұрын
If the swelling is caused by an infection that is susceptible to Ampicillin, then it can help. But as far as I know, Ampicillin is not used to treat inflammation on its own. You would need to take an anti inflammatory drug like an NSAID. However, I would always recommend speaking to your doctor or pharmacist for the best information for your case!

Does it work for GERD caused by lower oesophagus sphincter issues
@NurseRyan15 күн бұрын
Bethanechol has been used to help treat the symptoms of GERD caused by lower esophageal sphincter issues. However, from what I have read, it is not often used for GERD anymore due to the side effects and other options available. But I always recommend speaking to your doctor or pharmacist for any actual medical advice as these videos are meant only for educational purposes!

Hey Can I use gravol during 2nd trimester of pregnancy before a long flight?
@NurseRyan17 күн бұрын
A quick look online shows that Gravol is in pregnancy category B, which means that "animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women." - drugs.com So I would still recommend talking to your doctor about taking Gravol while pregnant just to be safe!

I have a video on Cheyne Stokes respiration here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3fGfp6kfK6pgcksi=DKTIitTXVWYJAUyN The main difference is that in Cheyne Stokes the breathing is a gradual increase and decrease, where in Kussmaul's the breathing is always rapid.
